The Sy and Consunji families are targeting commercial operations for the Tampakan copper-gold project within two to three years, a milestone that could unlock one of Southeast Asia’s largest undeveloped mineral deposits and accelerate the SM Group’s push into mining.

Today, I had the privilege of joining the turnover of school supplies to the students of Pasig Elementary School in Kiblawan, a simple initiative that supports education and invests in our children’s future.

We also conducted courtesy visits with our local leaders, validated the proposed solar lights project in Kiblawan, and turned over medicines to Barangay Kisulan. These activities reflect our continued commitment to strengthening partnerships and delivering programs that create meaningful benefits for our communities.

Through the continued collaboration of Sagittarius Mines, Inc. (SMI), the SDMP, and our local government partners, we remain committed to serving our communities and building a brighter future for everyone.

I had the opportunity to witness Sagittarius Mines Inc. donate 30 pigs to support the livelihood program of Barangay Tablu, in partnership with the Barangay Committee on Women.

Seeing initiatives like this reminds me that meaningful partnerships can create lasting opportunities for our communities. I hope this program helps improve the livelihood of many families and that these pigs continue to multiply, providing sustainable benefits for the people of Barangay Tablu. Together, let us continue working hand in hand for stronger and more resilient communities.

I had the opportunity to join the medical mission conducted by Sagittarius Mines, Inc. in Barangay Blaan, Municipality of Malungon, under the Enhanced Lingap sa Barangay: Local Ingenuity in Alleviating Poverty program.

As part of the activity, SMI also conducted a feeding program and donated medicines to the residents of Barangay Blaan and the Municipality of Malungon, supporting the health and well-being of the community.

It was also my first time witnessing a Kasalang Bayan led by Mayor Reynaldo S. Constantino, together with Vice Mayor Atty. Maria Theresa D. Constantino and Barangay Captain Hon. Sweetly Mae Laguerder.

It was my first time witnessing the Damsu, a meaningful tradition of the Blaan tribe that reflects their rich culture, heritage, and strong sense of community. This experience deepened my appreciation for our Indigenous Peoples and reminded me of the importance of preserving and respecting their traditions.

Through the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), we remain committed to strengthening our partnership with our host communities by listening, learning, and working together toward sustainable development.

I had the opportunity to attend the Buntis Congress in Barangay Miasong, Tupi, South Cotabato as part of the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP).

My first community engagement in Barangay Tablu was truly memorable. It was also my first time meeting the Blaan community, and I was warmly welcomed with kindness and hospitality.
