The Municipality of Tanay through DILG MLGOO, Mr. OLIVER R. MONTEFALCON, Mr. DIOSDADO C. BAQUIRAN, GAD/MADAC/POC/PDAO Focal Person, Mr. LEO ANTHONY SANTOS, Municipal Accountant, MS. MARISSA J. PAAT, Municipal Treasurer, and participants from 20 Barangays of Tanay, successfully conducted the GAD and POPS Plan Budget Preparation cm Orientation on DILG MC No. 2026-021 from June 26–28, 2026 at Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center, Tanay, Rizal.

The three-day activity equipped barangay officials with the knowledge and guidance necessary for:
✅ Preparation of the Gender and Development (GAD) and Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan Budgets;
✅ Orientation on the proper inventory and turnover of Barangay and SK properties, financial records, documents, and money accountabilities;
✅ Creation of the Barangay and SK Inventory Team and the Municipal Assessment and Transition Team; and
✅ Ensuring a smooth, transparent, and accountable transition in preparation for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on the first Monday of November 2026.

Through collaborative learning and capacity-building, the Municipality continues to promote good governance, transparency, accountability, and effective public service for every Tanayeño.

Ang Pride marches sa Pilipinas ay patuloy na nagsisilbing pagdiriwang ng pagkakaiba-iba at panawagan para sa pagkakapantay-pantay at karapatan ng LGBTQIA+ community.

Strengthening our commitment to gender responsiveness and inclusive governance! 💜

The participants successfully attended the GAD Focal Point System Capability Building cm Refresher on the Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) and Project Implementation, Management, Monitoring and Evaluation (PIMME) held on March 9–11, 2026 at Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center, Tanay, Rizal.

This activity enhanced the knowledge, skills, and competencies of the GAD Focal Point System in integrating gender perspectives into programs, projects, and activities, ensuring more responsive and equitable public service for all.

Together, let us continue promoting gender equality, empowerment, and sustainable development in our communities. 💪✨
