In celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, the Schools Division Office of Surigao del Sur (SDO SurSur), through the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS), actively participates in the nationwide campaign by wearing purple every Wednesday throughout the month of March 💜.

As part of promoting health and wellness, a weekly “Zumba para kay Juana” is conducted every Wednesday. The activity is led by Zumba Instructor Eppie P. Cabrera, AO V from the Budget Office, who energizes participants with lively and engaging dance routines during “Groovy Wednesday.”

Furthermore, the Best Purple Dress award was conferred upon Ressel L. Tersona, EPS, in recognition of her enthusiastic support for the celebration.
