31st Mechanized Infantry Company Conducts Information Awareness Campaign in Victoria, Tarlac

The 31st Mechanized Infantry (PERSIAN) Company, 3rd Mechanized Infantry (MAKATARUNGAN) Battalion, Armor Division, Philippine Army, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Victoria, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency III (NICA-3), Jelexie Bakeshop, and Mr. and Mrs. Andres Simon, facilitated the Information Awareness Campaign against Deceptive Recruitment against CTG on August 8, 2026, at Barangay Bangar, Victoria, Tarlac.

The campaign focused on the deceptive recruitment of Communist Terrorist Groups, while also providing the participants with information on current national issues, particularly the West Philippine Sea. The firsthand experiences shared by the former CTG members gave the participants a clearer understanding of how recruitment can affect individuals, families, and communities. At the same time, the discussion on the West Philippine Sea helped broaden their awareness of the country’s maritime concerns and the importance of being informed about issues that affect the nation’s sovereignty and national interests.
