Real leadership is not noisy. It doesn't need the perfect angle or someone off-camera telling it where to stand. It just keeps on working — quietly, even when no one's filming.

And real leadership is not reckless either. It doesn't mistake movement for direction. Even while away, our Mayor stayed in constant touch with every concerned agency — making sure everyone was aligned, informed, truly managed.

Not for the camera. Just steady leadership, felt even from a distance.

I salute our volunteers and government agencies — first to arrive, last to leave, guided by real coordination and real care, not by how it looks.

And the work is far from over. We are still searching for our missing kababayans. Our bridges are still down. This may take time — but with each other, we will see it through.

Let's continue to hold each other up. Let's keep praying — for strength to rise again, for the missing to be found, for what was broken to be made whole — not just for Tarlac City, but for our whole province.

Thank you to every hand that helped sincerely, and to every heart still praying and working with us. 🙏🏼

God bless Tarlac City, God bless our people. 🙏

CDRRMC Emergency Meeting: Ready. Response. Resilience.

Joined the emergency meeting of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC), headed by Mayor Susan A. Yap, as we convened department heads, partner agencies, and key institutions — including the Philippine Red Cross, DepEd, and Tarlac State University — to assess the current situation and align on recommendations for immediate implementation.

Coordinated, prepared, and always ready to serve Tarlakenyos. 🇵🇭

Today we honor the heroes who fought for our nation's freedom, and the everyday heroes who continue that legacy in service.

This year, heroism is closer to home. As search, rescue, and retrieval teams — CDRRMO, PDRRMO, PNP, our military units, and volunteers — continue their round-the-clock operations along the Agana and Aquino Bridges, braving dangerous waters to bring home our four missing kapwa-Tarlakenyos, they are joined by so many others quietly doing their part: our barangay health workers checking on families and monitoring those affected; various government units and agencies working hand in hand for a coordinated response; drivers behind the wheel of government vehicles offering free rides to get people safely where they need to go; volunteers manning our evacuation centers, tending to every need of those displaced; health centers opening their doors to provide medical services and assistance to anyone who needs it; and private individuals and civilian groups quietly donating goods, time, and services to those in need.

The bayanihan spirit truly shines in moments like these — not just remembered in history, but lived out in real time by ordinary Tarlakenyos showing up for one another, expecting nothing in return.

To our modern-day bayani — in uniform, in health centers, behind the wheel, in evacuation centers, in barangays, in prayer, and in every quiet act of generosity — Tarlac City stands with you and with the families still waiting for their loved ones.
