π THE GOSPEL
β John 20:19β23 βοΈ
On the evening of that first day of the week, when the doors were locked where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them,
"Peace be with you."
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you."
And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,
"Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained."
π REFLECTION
Have you ever felt completely lost β not knowing what to do or how things will ever be okay again?
We all go through it. Different situations, different battles β family, friendships, work, personal struggles. But the weight of feeling stuck? That's something we all know.
Sometimes the hardest part is realizing some things are just out of our hands. And that is one of the most unsettling feelings a person can carry.
But here's what I've learned β
Peace has a way of arriving without announcement. Things somehow find their way. Not always how we planned, not always on our timeline β but they fall into place.
They always do. π©΅
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." β Isaiah 26:3
So wherever you are right now β hold on. Sometimes peace doesn't knock. It just quietly walks in.
Happy Pentecost Sunday po, everyone! π΄ποΈβ¨
