The Local Government Unit of Tayum continues to uphold its commitment to protecting the welfare of children and strengthening families. Parents of profiled child laborers received assistance through the collaborative efforts of the LGU, with the guidance and support of the Municipal Mayor Hon. Placido P. EDUARTE, Jr
During the activity, the Mayor personally met and spoke with the parents, emphasizing the importance of education, responsible parenting, and ensuring that every child grows up in a safe and nurturing environment.
This meaningful intervention was made possible through the joint efforts of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), which continue to work together in providing assistance, livelihood opportunities, employment services, and family-centered support to help prevent child labor and improve the quality of life of vulnerable households.
