ARAL Summer Reading Program culminates with Learners' Success

Velasco Elementary School successfully held the Culminating Activity of the ARAL Summer Reading Program, celebrating the hard work and achievements of participating learners. The event highlighted the importance of reading and recognized the efforts of pupils who actively joined the summer tutorial sessions designed to strengthen their literacy skills.

After weeks of engaging reading activities and personalized instruction, the tutees showed remarkable improvement in their reading abilities, confidence, and comprehension. Parents and teachers expressed their appreciation for the progress demonstrated by the learners during the program.

The success of the ARAL Summer Reading Program was made possible through the dedication and commitment of ARAL Tutor Mam Micah Jane Tagura, who patiently guided and encouraged the learners throughout the summer. Her unwavering support helped the pupils develop a love for reading and prepared them for a more successful school year ahead.

Brigada Eskwela 2026 Monitoring

Our school warmly welcomed the Brigada Eskwela Monitoring Team led by Dra. Janette Pacioles, together with Nurse Janssen Basil Damian and PDO I Imelda T. Buena.

The visit recognized the collective efforts of our teachers, parents, learners, community partners, and stakeholders in preparing the school for the opening of classes. It also provided valuable feedback to further improve our programs and strengthen partnerships for quality education.

We sincerely thank everyone for their time, support, and commitment. Through our shared spirit of bayanihan, we continue to create a safe, clean, and learner-friendly school for all.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026, PORMAL NA SINIMULAN

Pormal nang inilunsad ng Velasco Elementary School ang Brigada Eskwela 2026 sa pamamagitan ng isang simpleng kick-off program na dinaluhan ng mga g**o, magulang, at mga opisyal ng barangay. Layunin ng programa na hikayatin ang pagtutulungan ng komunidad upang maihanda ang paaralan para sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng klase.

Sa maikling programa, binigyang-diin ng ang kahalagahan ng bayanihan at pakikilahok ng bawat sektor sa pagpapanatili ng malinis, ligtas, at maayos na kapaligiran sa pag-aaral. Nagpahayag din ng suporta ang mga magulang sa pangunguna ni SPTA President Jhomar Donato at opisyal ng barangay sa pamumuno ni Barangay Captain Leonardo Tagura sa mga gawain ng paaralan.

Matapos ang programa, agad na nagsagawa ng paglilinis at iba pang paghahanda sa loob at paligid ng paaralan bilang bahagi ng Brigada Eskwela. Muling ipinakita ng mga kalahok ang diwa ng pagkakaisa at malasakit para sa kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral.

VES honors young achievers in Recognition Rites 2026

Velasco Elementary School (VES) held its Recognition Rites for School Year 2025–2026, honoring the academic and special awardees from Grades 1 to 5. The ceremony celebrated the pupils’ hard work, achievements, and dedication to their studies.

Awardees proudly received their medals together with their proud parents, making the moment even more meaningful and memorable. The event highlighted not only academic excellence but also talents, leadership, and positive values demonstrated by the learners.
