September 1, 2026 The University of Antique Tario Lim Memorial Campus Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit conducted a gate security duty to help ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and other individuals entering school.

The duty was carried out by the School Guards and by help of ROTC Officer under the leadership of Corps Commander, C/COL REXANE J DALMACIO, 1CL.

The duty focused on monitoring the school entrance, checking individuals entering the campus, maintaining order, and assisting in ensuring a safe and secure school environment.

The University of Antique - Tario Lim Memorial Campus Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit participated in the 2nd NSTP Session 2026 for all students enrolled in NSTP on 4 September 2026, held at the UA-TLMC.

This session conducted a symposium, personnel from Tibiao Municipal Police discuss the Crime prevention and followed by a discussion of HUMAN RIGHTS by ROTC Instructor Sgt Jurie M Agustin PA (Res).

The event was successfully led by Mr. Angel B Biadora, NSTP Coordinator, and other university faculty members. Assisted by the subordinates under Corps Commander, C/COL REXANE J DALMACIO, 1cl together with the Battalion staffs. The activity was also attended together with Sgt Dina Mae A Reyno PA (Res), ROTC Coordinator, Sgt Jurie M Agustin PA (Res), ROTC Instructor, and GMA'S

Through the discussions, students gained a deeper understanding of Human Rights, including the importance of respecting the rights, dignity, freedom, and equality of every individual. The session emphasized the responsibilities of individuals in upholding human rights, promoting respect and fairness, preventing discrimination, and fostering a peaceful and just society.

This August 31, 2026, the UA-TLMC ROTC Unit stands with the nation in remembering National Heroes Day.

We pay tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and love for country of our Filipino heroes who paved the way for our freedom.

The University of Antique - Tario Lim Memorial Campus Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit participated in the 1st NSTP Session 2026 for all students enrolled in NSTP on 28 August 2026, held at the UA-TLMC Recreational Fitness Center (RFC).

The program introduced the two components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP), the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC). Presenters discussed each programโ€™s mission, responsibilities, and how they help students grow in leadership, civic duty, and nationalism.

The event was successfully led by Mr. Angel B Biadora, NSTP Coordinator, in coordination with Dr. Porferio S Bangcaya, Campus Director, and other university faculty members. Assisted by the subordinates under Corps Commander, C/COL REXANE J DALMACIO, 1cl together with the Battalion staffs. Through the presentations and talks, students learned of how each component contributes to personal growth and nation-building. CWTS focuses on community service, civic welfare, and community development while ROTC emphasize military training, leadership, discipline, teamwork, preparedness, and national service. Both program shape students to be academically ready and with the heart to serve.
