The University of Antique - Tario Lim Memorial Campus Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit conducted the Physical Fitness Test for 65 applicants of the Cadet Officer Candidate Course(COCC), on 02 October 2026, at UA-TLMC Field.

To assess their strength, endurance, and discipline, the applicants were tested in push-ups, sit-ups, and a 3.2 km run. Each candidate demonstrated determination to meet the standards required for military leadership and service. This PFT marks the foundational step in shaping future Cadet Officers who will uphold the core values of honor, duty, and excellence.

โ€ŽThe University of Antiqueโ€“Tario Lim Memorial Campus ROTC Unit participated in the 6th NSTP Session centered on Disaster Preparedness on 02 October 2026, at the UA-TLMC Recreational Fitness Center (RFC).

โ€ŽThe Session was led by Mr. Angel B. Biadora, NSTP Coordinator; the discussion educated participants on fundamental disaster concepts, highlighting the distinctions between hazards, exposure, vulnerability, and risk. The lecture addressed both natural hazards, such as volcanic eruptions, and human-induced risks like flammable materials, alongside the core stages of disaster management: preparedness, response, prevention and mitigation, rehabilitation, and recovery.

โ€Ž"Although hazards cannot always be predicted or prevented, proper preparedness and coordinated action can lessen their impact on communities," the session emphasized, detailing key operational actions including emergency planning, search and rescue, damage assessment, and relief distribution.
