DILG Tolosa reiterates the directive aligned with the implementation of DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2026-029, entitled “Encouraging the Enactment of Local Ordinances for Safer Cities: A Call to Action for Local Government Units.” This reminder was issued during the public hearing for proposed ordinances that seek to institute a curfew for minors and prohibit the consumption of liquor and intoxicating beverages in public places.

The MLGOO actively participated in the LCPC Meeting, where one of the agenda focused on the functionality of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) and the Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA).

This activity strengthens the municipality’s commitment to promoting child-friendly governance and ensuring the welfare, protection, and development of every child in the Municipality of Tolosa.
