Lately, I’ve been meeting many SK Federation Presidents from different municipalities around Bohol through official gatherings, government functions, and even casual pickleball sessions🏓
I often joke with them: “Hayahay kaayo mo, kay kamo ang first batch sa SK nga nakaabot og five years sa serbisyo” 😅
But beyond the joke, I realized there’s a more important message I should share: “Ang dugang nga panahon sa pagserbisyo dili lang dugang nga oportunidad, kundi dugang nga responsibilidad”
Five years in public service is not just a privilege. It is an opportunity to create meaningful change, strengthen youth leadership, and prove that the Sangguniang Kabataan is more than a stepping stone in politics.
Ang tinuod nga lider dili lang mag-ihap sa katuigan sa pwesto, kundili sa mga kinabuhi nga natandog ug sa kaayohan nga nahimo.
To all our SK leaders across Bohol, may this additional time not hinder you pursuing towards your personal goals and dreams but rather give you more meaningful legacy you choose to leave behind 💙💚
