The Municipal Government of Tupi, through the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), Municipal Treasurer's Office and Municipal Assessor's Office, continues to conduct its Business Tax Mapping Activity across the municipality.

This initiative aims to identify and validate existing business establishments, update business records, promote compliance with local tax and licensing requirements, and ensure that businesses are properly registered with the LGU.

Through accurate business mapping, we can strengthen local revenue generation and, ultimately, support better public services and programs for the people of Tupi.

Strengthening collaboration for a fair and stable market. 🤝

The Local Government Unit of Tupi thru the Municipal Economic Enterprise and Development Office (MEEDO), the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) and Municipal Agriculture Office convened a meeting with local meat vendors to harmonize the current prices of meat products in the municipality. The discussion aimed to promote fair pricing, protect consumers, and ensure that vendors remain competitive amid changing market conditions.

Through open dialogue and cooperation, the LGU together with Ms. Jenica Leoncio, President of the Tupi Chamber of Commerce and our meat vendors continue to work together in maintaining a balanced, transparent, and sustainable local market for the benefit of the entire Tupi community.

BPLO Personnel of LGU Tupi Dennis Pacres and Arvilyn Mae Tamayo attended the 1-day Orientation-Workshop on the EODB Online Monitoring System and Monthly Meeting of South Cotabato Association of Business Permits and Licensing Officers (SCABPLO) Inc.

The meeting was held at Habi Hotel, Koronadal City. It was attended by BPLOs of 10 Municipalities and 1 City.

𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐆𝐔 𝐓𝐮𝐩𝐢 conducted an inspection in Brgy. CR Rubber to ensure compliance with municipal business and building regulations.

Spearheaded by the 𝙏𝙪𝙥𝙞 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 together with other Regulatory Agencies, the team inspected several establishments to verify compliance with business permit requirements and to ensure strict observance of existing regulations, including compliance with building permit requirements.

This activity strengthens LGU Tupi’s commitment to regulatory compliance, public safety, and the proper implementation of local ordinances governing business operations and construction activities.
