Sa Memorandum Circular No. 128 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, ipinag-utos ng Malacanang ang pagsasagawa ng Work-from-Home (WFH) sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno at alternative learning modes sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong eskwelahan bukas, Agosto 18, bilang paghahanda sa inaasahang patuloy na pagbuhos ng malakas na ulan dulot ng habagat.

Alinsunod sa rekomendasyon ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), ipatutupad ang WFH at suspension ng face-to-face classes sa mga sumusunod na lugar:

Hindi sakop ng WFH ang mga ahensya ng pamahalaang may kinalaman sa pag-deliver ng basic at health services, preparasyon at pagtugon sa sakuna at kalamidad.

Ipinauubaya naman ng Malacanang sa mga Local Chief Executives ang kapangyarihang mag-pasiya kung kinakailangang suspendihin ang pasok sa mga lugar na kanilang nasasakupan na hindi napabilang sa memorandum circular.

Nasa diskresyon naman ng pamunuan ng pribadong sektor ang pagdeklara ng suspensyon sa trabaho.

RAIN OR SHINE: Urbiztondo District ECP 2nd Batch Demonstration Teaching and Interview Press On Amid Heavy Rain

Despite the heavy rain, the Demonstration Teaching and NCOI assessment for the second batch of applicants under the Expanded Career Progression (ECP) System proceeded as scheduled on August 14, 2026, at Urbiztondo National High School.

Teacher-applicants from different schools in the Urbiztondo District arrived early at the venue, undeterred by the inclement weather. They were welcomed by Dr. Cristobal P. Cristobal, Principal IV of Urbiztondo National High School, who immediately oriented the applicants on the flow and procedures of the selection process.

At exactly 8:00 a.m., the NCOI annotation began. Focused and determined, the teacher-applicants carefully reviewed their Means of Verification (MOVs) and prepared their annotations as part of the assessment process.

By 9:30 a.m., the Demonstration Teaching commenced. Armed with their instructional materials and well-prepared lessons, the applicants took on the challenge of demonstrating their teaching competencies before the assessors. At the same time, other applicants underwent their scheduled interviews with the school heads.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the entire process continued smoothly. The applicants completed the day's activities with smiles on their faces, reflecting their determination and commitment to pursue professional growth through the Expanded Career Progression System.

The selection process was monitored by Dr. Bernard De Guzman, EPS Monitoring In-Charge.

Rain or shine, the pursuit of career growth continues.

Gabay sa Pagpapatuloy ng Pag-aaral sa Gitna ng Emergency

Sa Urbiztondo National High School, ang kaligtasan, kapakanan, at pagkatuto ng bawat mag-aaral at kawani ang aming pangunahing prayoridad.

Ang HAYO, HINAY, HINGA, HINTO ay nagsisilbing gabay sa pagpapasya kung paano maipagpapatuloy ang pag-aaral sa panahon ng mga kalamidad at iba pang emergency. Sa pamamagitan ng gabay na ito, masisiguro nating ang bawat desisyon ay nakabatay sa kaligtasan, accessibility, at kapakanan ng ating school community.
