As part of the celebration of Environment Week 2026 in Victorias City, I proudly witnessed the signing of two significant Memoranda of Agreement that reaffirm our commitment to environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable development.

The MOA Signing Ceremony formalized the partnership between Victorias City and Subay Marketing, Inc. for the delivery and processing of the City's plastic waste through a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).
This initiative strengthens our solid waste management efforts and supports our vision of a cleaner and more environmentally responsible Victorias City.

We also entered into a partnership with VMC Foundation, Inc. for the implementation of the Grow a Forest Project, a reforestation initiative in support of City Ordinance No. 2024-159.

Through this collaboration, we continue to expand our efforts to restore and protect our natural environment while building climate resilience for future generations of Victoriasanons.

These partnerships demonstrate that meaningful environmental action is achieved through collaboration, shared responsibility, and a common vision for sustainable progress.

As we celebrate Environment Week, we call on every Victoriasanon to become active stewards of our environment and partners in creating a greener, healthier, and more resilient community.

Together, under the banner of Bagong Pilipinas, we will continue to advance programs and initiatives that safeguard our environment and secure a better future for all.
"Let's come together to celebrate nature, take action for the climate, and build a better future for all!"

Today, as we officially open the celebration of Environment Week in Victorias City, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing a sustainable, resilient, and climate-responsive future for our city.

Guided by our vision of a Journey to a Sustainable Victorias City, we continue to strengthen environmental governance and promote responsible resource management through our Integrated Solid Waste Management Framework.

Anchored on the principles of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, and Responsibly Managed Disposal, this framework serves as a strategic roadmap toward a circular green economy where resources are valued, recovered, and reimagined.

This celebration also highlights the importance of collaboration among government agencies, educational institutions, civic organizations, and industry partners in driving meaningful environmental action. Through innovation, data-driven planning, and sustained advocacy, we are creating lasting solutions that protect our environment and safeguard public health.

As Victoriasanons, we are called to uphold environmental responsibility and support initiatives that contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Victorias City.

Together, we continue to close the loop for a better tomorrow.
