Alam mo ba na sa dami ng wikang ginagamit sa Pilipinas, may walong pangunahing rehiyonal na katutubong wika na malawakang ginagamit bilang unang wika ng maraming Pilipino?

𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐌 𝐌𝐎 𝐁𝐀?

Bagama’t mayroong mahigit 130 katutubong wika sa Pilipinas, humigit-kumulang 85–90% ng populasyon ang nagsasalita ng isa sa walong pangunahing rehiyonal na katutubong wika bilang kanilang unang wika: Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Hiligaynon, Waray, Bikol, Kapampangan, at Pangasinense.

Ipinapakita nito kung gaano kayaman at kakulay ang ating bansa pagdating sa wika. Sa bawat salitang ating ginagamit, dala natin ang kasaysayan, kultura, tradisyon, at pagkakakilanlan ng ating mga komunidad.

Kaya ngayong Buwan ng Wika, kilalanin natin hindi lamang ang Filipino, kundi pati na rin ang iba't ibang katutubong wikang patuloy na nagbibigay-buhay sa ating kultura.

Silipin ang ating Alam Mo Ba? at tuklasin ang wika na bumubuo sa makulay na pagkakakilanlan ng ating bansa!

🍂📖𝑽𝑬𝑹𝑺𝑬 𝑶𝑭 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑾𝑬𝑬𝑲 | 𝟖 𝑶𝑭 𝟒𝟑

Faith is not about having everything figured out. There are times when our prayers may seem unanswered, our plans may not go as expected, and the future may feel uncertain. Yet, God reminds us to trust Him and believe that He is working even when we cannot see the outcome.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” — Mark 11:24

This week, let this verse remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of having faith. When you bring your hopes, worries, and dreams to God, trust that He hears you. His timing may not always be the same as ours, but His plans are always worth trusting.

Akala mo ba madali lang ang “ng” at “nang”? Huwag kang kampante! Kahit isang maliit na salita lang ang mga ito, malaki ang epekto ng tamang paggamit sa kahulugan at ayos ng isang pangungusap.

𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐌 𝐌𝐎 𝐁𝐀?

“𝙉𝙂” ang ginagamit ang upang ipakita ang pagmamay-ari o layon ng pandiwa, habang ang “𝙉𝘼𝙉𝙂” naman ay ginagamit upang ilarawan kung paano isinagawa ang isang kilos.

Sa panahon ngayon, mabilis tayong mag-type, mag-post, at mag-chat—kaya minsan, nauuna ang send bago ang mag check. Pero bilang kabataan at tagapangalaga ng ating wika, mahalagang alam natin kung kailan gagamitin ang “ng” at kung kailan naman ang “nang.”

Silipin ang ating Alam Mo Ba? at subukan kung kabisado mo ang wastong gamit ng mga salitang madalas nating napagpapalit.

On behalf of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Villareal National High School, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Villareal Municipal Police Station (VMPS) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) for spearheading the Active Shooting Simulation Exercise and sharing your expertise in emergency preparedness and response.

We also express our sincere appreciation to the school administration, faculty members, staff, and fellow students for their active participation, cooperation, and support, which contributed to the successful conduct of this meaningful activity.

This initiative serves as a reminder that a safer school begins with a prepared community. Through education, collaboration, and continuous training, VNHS remains committed to protecting every learner and fostering a culture of safety and resilience.

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — Villareal Municipal Police Station (VMPS) conducted a Simulation Exercise on active shooting at Villareal National High School as part of the production of an awareness video aimed at educating the school community on the appropriate response during incidents of school violence and other emergency situations.
‎
‎The initiative was spearheaded by the Villareal MPS, in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), whose responders demonstrated emergency rescue procedures and proper first aid for individuals who may be injured during such incidents. The activity was also facilitated by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers, who assisted in the overall coordination of the simulation.

‎The awareness campaign was inspired by the growing concerns over school threats and acts of violence, including the recent shooting incident at San Jose National High School in Tacloban, emphasizing the importance of preparedness, quick response, and coordinated action during emergencies.
‎
‎Students actively cooperated by taking part in the simulation and portraying different scenarios for the video production, while teachers also extended their full support by participating in and supervising the activity. Their collective cooperation contributed to the realistic ex*****on of the simulation and reinforced the school's commitment to fostering a safe, informed, and prepared learning environment for all.
