Ito ang nilalaman ng Republic Act 12232, para sa karagdagang kaalaman. 🔥 👀 ⚖️

RA 12232 ay batas na:

1. Nagpapalawig ng termino ng mga opisyal ng barangay at SK mula 3 taon naging 4 na taon.

2. Itinakda ang susunod na BSKE sa unang Lunes ng Nobyembre 2026, at tuwing ika-4 na taon pagkatapos nito.

3. Ang mga mahalal ay manunungkulan simula Disyembre 1 pagkatapos ng eleksyon.

4. Ang mga kasalukuyang opisyal ay mananatili sa puwesto (hold-over) hanggang sa mahalal at makapanumpa ang kanilang mga kapalit.

4. Ang mga barangay officials ay maaari lamang magsilbi ng hanggang 3 magkakasunod na termino sa parehong posisyon, habang ang SK officials ay isang termino lamang.
