On March 18, 2025 at around 8:00AM personnel of this office led by PCPT ORLEE S SILVID, C, TPU, together with PEMS ALVIN C BAYSA , of San Marcelino MPS, attended the Opening program of ECO TOUR GUIDES TRAINING at 2nd Floor BAC Building, San Marcelino. Zambales. The opening ceremony was also attended by Dr Lowella Aquino, SB member, Chairman of Committee on Tourism San Marcelino, Zambales, Ms Mikee Labyo, San Marcelino Tourism Officer, Ms Janice Cudal, San Narciso Tourism Officer. 25 trainees came from San Marcelino and 10 from San Narciso , Zambales. PCPT SILVIDO, during his message to the trainees emphasized the importance of being a certified TOUR Guide and meet the minimum. standard of Department of Tourism. That being a tour guide is responsible to the safety and security of their guest tourist, a trusted and good service makes their guest enjoy their adventure to the eco tourist areas of Zambales.

On March 15-17, 2025, Tourism-Oriented Police for Community Order and Protection (TOPCOP) personnel of the Zambales Police Provincial Office (PPO), deployed from Subic Municipal Police Station to Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station, conducted police visibility operations, site visits, inspections, and distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials and flyers to tourists and guests throughout the province. These activities ensured adherence to the standards established by the Provincial Tourism Office among all accommodation establishments and resorts within the jurisdiction. Furthermore, disseminating information through flyers and IEC materials aimed to educate tourists on drowning prevention and safeguarding against scammers and criminals. Six hundred twenty-one (621) IEC materials and flyers were distributed to tourists across the province.

On March 8-9, 2025, Tourism-Oriented Police for Community Order and Protection (TOPCOP) personnel of the Zambales Police Provincial Office (PPO), deployed from Subic Municipal Police Station to Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station, conducted police visibility operations, site visits, inspections, and distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials and flyers to tourists and guests throughout the province. These activities ensured adherence to the standards established by the Provincial Tourism Office among all accommodation establishments and resorts within the jurisdiction. Furthermore, disseminating information through flyers and IEC materials aimed to educate tourists on drowning prevention and safeguarding against scammers and criminals. Five hundred thirty-nine (539) IEC materials and flyers were distributed to tourists across the province.

On February 13, 2025 at 9:00 AM personnel of Tourist Police Unit led by the undersigned attended the Meeting with Zambales Tourism Office represented by Mr Kevin Nacabuan, Municipal Tourism Officer from Subic to Sta. Cruz and Olongapo City , wherein Ms. Fifi Legaspi , Tourism Officer of Olongapo City, hosted the event held at Subic Rivera Hotel and Residences, Lot 9 block B Subic Commercial and Light Park,CBD Area, Subic Bay Freeport Zone. This is to review the miletones of the past year and consolidate programs,projects and activities for tourism this 2025. Also, this meeting was graced by City Councilor Hon Vicvic Magsaysay and Hon Jamiel Escalona and gave their message and plans on how to expand and develop the tourism industry in the Olongapo City as well as in the province of Zambales.

Further, the undersigned presented during this meeting the data on drowning incidents for the year 2024, reports on robbery/theft victimizing tourists , data of tourists arrivals and discussed the importance of data reporting to reflect the effectiveness of Tourism marketing strategies. Also, he introduce the “ Brgy Tanod sa Turismo Training” to all the City and Municipal Tourism Officers to add in their Year 2025 Calendar of activities. This proposed training will give knowledge to Brgy Tanods in enhancing the safety and security of tourists in their area of jurisdiction in support to the Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO) vision that the province of Zambales is a safe , secured and friendly tourist destination.

Cruz Municipal Police Station , conducted police visibility operations, site visits, inspections, and distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials and flyers to tourists and guests throughout the province. On September, 2022 at about 2:00 PM PLT ORLEE S SILVIDO OIC, TPU participated the monthly meeting of Iba Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Association (IRRA) headed by President Gerald Cabautan Owner of Tanyaw Beach Resort, DCOP of Iba MPS PLT Leoben Eduajen and other resort/restaurant owner held at Big Dads Restaurant , Brgy Zone 3,Iba, Zamabales. Further PLT ORLEE SILVIDO discusses peace and order, securing lifeguard to prevent further drowning incident and the patrolling along shoreline of PNP personnel especially during weekends.
