The UPLIFT Beneficiaries Payout will be held today, July 30, 2026, at the Flamingo Covered Court.

📋 Requirements:
✅ Two (2) photocopies of one (1) valid ID (preferably the National ID)
✅ Three (3) specimen signatures

If the beneficiary cannot personally claim the assistance:
➡️ Only the wife or husband may claim on behalf of the beneficiary, provided they present a photocopy of the Marriage Certificate.

⚠️ Important Notice:
As advised, beneficiaries who are also listed under the 4Ps and Walang Gutom Program are no longer required to proceed to the payout venue, as they will not be able to claim.

Through the leadership of the Barangay Council of Tulungatung, spearheaded by Hon. Nelson F. Bigcas, five (5) incoming fourth-year college students successfully received ₱20,000.00 each as financial assistance under the Bagong Pilipinas Barangay Scholars, a component of the "Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program: Presidential Assistance to Barangays under the Socio-Civic Projects Fund (SCPF)."

In addition, through the Assistance for Barangay-Identified Development Priorities under the Socio-Civic Projects Fund (SCPF), the Barangay also received essential office equipment, including a 3-in-1 printer, desktop computer, and projector. These resources will further strengthen the efficiency of barangay operations and enhance the delivery of quality public services to the residents of Barangay Tulungatung.

These initiatives reflect the government's continuing commitment to supporting education, empowering local communities, and promoting responsive and efficient public service through the Socio-Civic Projects Fund.

This is a priority program of Assistant Majority Leader Congresswoman Kat Chua in partnership with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), offering FREE TESDA NC II training for qualified residents of the First District of Zamboanga City.

NO CLASSES TODAY| Classes at all levels, both in public and private schools in the city, are SUSPENDED today, Thursday, July 23, 2026 due to inclement weather.

Mayor Khymer Olaso ordered the suspension of classes, as latest PAGASA weather forecast indicates that Zamboanga City will continue to experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers due to Southwest Monsoon.
