Erich Miñoza: Crafting Heritage with Precision
Erich Miñoza was born and raised in the vibrant city of Zamboanga, where his passion for fashion was shaped by culture, craftsmanship, and creativity. He began his professional journey as an associate designer under respected senior designers in Zamboanga and Manila, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and mentorship that grounded his practice in discipline and skill. To further refine his craft, Erich completed a Diploma in Fashion Design and a masteral course at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines in Cebu, strengthening both his technical foundation and design sensibility.
His career later expanded internationally when he worked with an established fashion house in Dubai, where he was exposed to global standards of luxury, precision, and high-level design. Today, Erich owns and operates his own design studio in Zamboanga City, creating bespoke pieces that balance refined elegance with a strong sense of local identity.
Erich’s work is deeply rooted in stories shaped by history, belief, and cultural memory. Each design begins with listening—to tradition, to symbolism, and to lived experience. He approaches design with restraint and intention, believing that clarity, balance, and appropriateness are essential disciplines. By honoring the past while shaping it for the present, his work becomes a dialogue between heritage and modern form.
Looking ahead, Erich aspires to share his creations on both national and global stages, carrying the colors, pride, and spirit of Zamboanga into a universal language of design.
