β°οΈππππ πππβπ πππππππ πππππππ πππππ ππ ππππ. πποΈοΈ| Mayor Khymer Olaso has issued a memorandum order (MO) adjusting working hours in the city government on Monday, September 28, following the presidential declaration of a half-day suspension of work in line with the observance of the 34th National Family Week and βKainang Pamilya Mahalagaβ Day. π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
Based on MO No. AS-543, series of 2026 issued by Mayor Olaso on Sept. 24, work in all city government offices will be suspended effective 11:30am on Monday, Sept. 28, in as much as the flag-raising ceremony starts at 7:30am.
"The arrangement is intended to provide sifficient time for employees to travel home and spend quality time with their families in observance of "Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day," Olaso said in his memorandum order.
President Marcos has ordered a half-day suspension of work in government offices starting at 1pm, Monday, Sept. in line with the Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day. The order covers all government agencies, instrumentalities, government-owned or controlled corporations, and state universities and colleges under the Executive branch.
Nonetheless, agencies handling basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital operations must maintain their workforce.
The Palace encouraged other branches of government, independent bodies, courts, and private companies to suspend work or adjust hours at their discretion. (CMO-PIO)
