𝙏𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙋𝙎 𝙉𝙖𝙗𝙨 𝙁𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚-𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙝𝙪𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨

Titay Municipal Police Station in coordination with the Zamboanga Sibugay 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company successfully arrested five wanted persons in a series of intelligence-driven manhunt operations conducted on July 29, 2026, in Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Arrested were two adult males and three adult females by virtue of Warrants of Arrest for Estafa under Article 315, paragraph 2(a) of the Revised Penal Code, issued by the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Naga-Titay, Ninth Judicial Region, dated July 29, 2026. Each warrant carried a recommended bail of ₱30,000.

The arrested individuals were informed of the nature of their arrest and their constitutional rights and were subsequently brought to Titay MPS for proper documentation and disposition before the issuing court.

PCOL BARNARD DANIE V DASUGO, Provincial Director commended the operating personnel for the successful implementation of the simultaneous manhunt operations.

“This accomplishment reflects the commitment of our police personnel to enforce the law fairly and effectively. The successful arrest of five wanted persons in a single day demonstrates the value of intelligence-driven operations and the strong coordination among our units. We will continue to intensify our efforts in locating and bringing wanted persons before the court of law,”

The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office reiterated its commitment to sustaining intensified operations against wanted persons as part of its continuing efforts to uphold peace, order, and public safety throughout the province.

Following the recently concluded Seminar on Strengthening School Safety and Security attended by Chiefs of Police and Schools District Supervisors across Zamboanga Sibugay, the Chiefs of Police in partnership with Department of Education officials, re-echoed the knowledge and strategies gained during the seminar in their respective Areas of Responsibility.
The cascading activities were conducted through school visits, dialogues, orientations, and information dissemination sessions involving school administrators, teachers, parents, students, and other stakeholders. The initiative aimed to reinforce awareness on school safety protocols, violence prevention, emergency preparedness, and the shared responsibility of creating safe and secure learning environment.
The re-echo activities form part of the Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office's continuing commitment to strengthening police-community-school partnerships and ensuring that every educational institution remains a safe place conducive to learning and development.
PCOL BARNARD DANIE V DASUGO, Provincial Director of the Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office, emphasized that school safety is a shared responsibility that requires the active participation of law enforcement, educators, parents, learners, and the community.

The initiative serves as a proactive measure to prevent violence in schools by promoting vigilance, preparedness, and open communication among stakeholders. It also strengthens the partnership between the Philippine National Police and the Department of Education in fostering a culture of safety, discipline, and mutual respect within educational institutions.
