In its continuing commitment to uphold the morale, welfare, and well-being of its personnel, the Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office led by PCOL BARNARD DANIE V DASUGO, Provincial Director, conducted the Pamilya ng Pulis Program, emphasizing the importance of strong family relationships as a vital foundation of effective and dedicated police service.

A total of thirteen (13) police officers, together with their spouses and children, actively participated in the meaningful activity designed to strengthen family bonds, promote open communication, and provide personnel and their families with valuable insights on building healthy and harmonious relationships.

The activity featured two resource speakers, Pastor John Andrew Bayotas and Pastor Rogelio Orillanida, who shared inspiring insights, personal life experiences, and practical guidance on family enrichment anchored on the Word of God. The session emphasized the importance of faith, understanding, forgiveness, communication, and mutual support in overcoming challenges and maintaining a strong and resilient family.

In his message, PCOL DASUGO underscored that the family is the foundation of society, emphasizing that the strength of a nation is greatly influenced by the strength and stability of its families. He noted that a dysfunctional family can have far-reaching effects not only on individuals but also on the community and the nation as a whole.

As a family man himself, the Provincial Director shared three fundamental values his family upholds, respect, trust, and love. These serve as the foundation that binds their family together through both triumphs and challenges.

He further reminded police personnel that while the demands of police service may sometimes require sacrifices and long hours away from home, the family should never be neglected. He encouraged the participants to make time for their loved ones.

The activity concluded with a renewed commitment among the participating personnel and their families to nurture stronger relationships, uphold family values, and continue supporting one another in the pursuit of a meaningful and purposeful life.

The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office, led by PCOL BARNARD DANIE V DASUGO, Provincial Director, conducted a Sends-Off Ceremony for the 129 police personnel from Zamboanga Sibugay who are set to be deployed to the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao connection with the Parliamentary Elections.

The activity served as a formal send-off and an opportunity to remind the deployed personnel of their crucial role in ensuring the safe, secure, peaceful, and orderly conduct of the electoral process.

As part of the ceremony, Pastor John Andrew Bayotas led the blessing and prayer for the deployed personnel. He prayed for their safety, protection, wisdom, strength, and guidance as they carry out their responsibilities.

During the ceremony, PCOL DASUGO emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline, impartiality, and strict adherence to election laws and established protocols. He likewise reminded the personnel to remain vigilant, respect the rights of all stakeholders, and uphold the highest standards of integrity in the performance of their duties.

To conclude the activity, a boodle fight was held, providing the personnel and members of the ZSBPPO leadership an opportunity to gather in camaraderie and unity before the deployment. The simple fellowship highlighted the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity among the police personnel as they prepare to fulfill their duties in support of the electoral process.

The ZSBPPO remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring that every deployment contributes to a peaceful, secure, and credible electoral process.

The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office honored a retiring police personnel through a simple yet meaningful “Salamat Kapatid” Program, led by PLTCOL ROSELILY N BAGUIO, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration

The program paid tribute to PSMS Gilbert Dela Cruz Garcia for his 21 years and 10 months of dedicated and faithful service to the Philippine National Police. In recognition of his years of service, he was accorded the Medalya ng Paglilingkod, Certificate of Recognition, and a memento as tokens of appreciation for his valuable contributions to the organization. His spouse was likewise recognized and presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and cash in acknowledgment of her unwavering support, understanding, and sacrifices throughout his years in the police service.

With mixed emotions, PSMS Garcia reflected on his journey in the organization, sharing the realizations and lessons he gained throughout his career. In his message, he expressed that he leaves the service not simply with a goodbye, but with gratitude, carrying with him the realization that while a duty may end, a life of service never truly retires.

Meanwhile, PLTCOL BAGUIO delivered the message of PCOL BARNARD DANIE V DASUGO, Provincial Director, honoring PSMS Garcia for his unwavering dedication and commitment to the police service.

PCOL BARNARD DANIE V DASUGO, Provincial Director, was interviewed by members of the local media following the conduct of the Mass Destruction of Confiscated Open Pipes/Loud Mufflers at the ZSBPPO Grounds in Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

During the media engagement, PCOL DASUGO emphasized that the activity goes beyond the physical destruction of confiscated open pipes and loud mufflers. He underscored its significance as a concrete reminder of the importance of respect for fellow road users, responsible vehicle ownership, discipline, and compliance with existing traffic laws and regulations.

He likewise highlighted the importance of continued collaboration among the PNP, Land Transportation Office, local government units, riding groups, and other stakeholders in addressing concerns affecting road safety and community peace and order.

The Provincial Director also reiterated that the ZSBPPO will continue to listen to concerns raised by the community, strengthen coordination with partner agencies, and support initiatives that promote safer, more peaceful, and orderly roads across Zamboanga Sibugay.

The media engagement further provided an opportunity to clarify the objectives of the enforcement initiative and reinforce the message that road safety is a shared responsibility, one that requires discipline, respect, and cooperation from every road user.

The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office conducted the Destruction of Confiscated Open Pipes/Loud Mufflers at the ZSBPPO Grounds in Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

The activity stemmed from concerns raised during KAPEHAN SA BARANGAY, where excessively loud mufflers were identified as one of the issues causing disturbance in local communities. In response, the ZSBPPO, in coordination with the Land Transportation Office and other stakeholders, intensified its enforcement efforts, resulting in the confiscation of 269 open pipes/loud mufflers.

Representatives from partner agencies and stakeholders,witnessed the activity including Jose Maria M. Gonzales, MPA, Chief of the Land Transportation Office –Ipil District Office; Hon. Ramses Troy D. Olegario, Municipal Mayor of Ipil; and Emmanuel B. Porras of the Eagle Riders Club, who expressed their support for initiatives promoting road safety, responsible riding, and compliance with traffic regulations.

In his message, PCOL BARNARD DANIE V DASUGO, Provincial Director of the ZSBPPO, emphasized the importance of strong cooperation among law enforcement agencies, local government units, and the riding community in maintaining safer and more orderly roads.

He emphasized that the activity goes beyond the physical destruction of confiscated open pipes and loud mufflers. It also serves as a reminder that disregard for others must be replaced with respect, while discipline and compliance with existing laws and regulations must be fostered as a shared responsibility among all road users.

PCOL DASUGO likewise underscored the importance of responsible vehicle ownership and urged motorists, particularly motorcycle riders, to observe traffic rules and regulations, emphasizing that maintaining road safety requires the collective effort of authorities, riders, and the entire community.

The confiscated open pipes and loud mufflers were rendered unusable after they were crushed using road roller compactor symbolizing the police office’s firm commitment to ensuring that items found to be in violation of existing regulations will no longer be used on public roads.

Mangyaring ipabatid sa lahat na ang National Police Clearance System (NPCS) ay pansamantalang hindi pa rin magagamit hanggang sa ngayon dahil sa kasalukuyang problema sa internet connectivity na nakaaapekto sa system.

Batay sa pinakahuling impormasyon mula sa internet service provider, nakaranas ng fiber cut sa isa sa mga network line kung saan nakakonekta ang NPCS server.

Dahil dito, naapektuhan ang connectivity ng NPCS server na nagresulta sa pansamantalang unavailability ng system at kawalan ng access sa pagproseso ng mga transaksyon ng NPCS.

Kasalukuyang nakikipag-ugnayan at nagsasagawa ng kinakailangang technical intervention ang internet service provider upang matugunan ang problema sa fiber cut. Ginagawa nila ang kanilang makakaya upang mapabilis ang pagkukumpuni, at pagpapanumbalik ng apektadong linya ng connection upang maibalik sa normal na operasyon ang NPCS sa lalong madaling panahon.

Magbibigay ng kaukulang update sa sandaling magkaroon ng karagdagang impormasyon o kapag muli nang magiging available ang system.

The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office intensified its manhunt operations, resulting in the successful arrest of two high-ranking most wanted persons and another wanted individual in separate law enforcement operations conducted across the province.

Tracker personnel of the Imelda Municipal Police Station conducted a law enforcement operation that resulted in the arrest of an adult male listed as the Top 4 Most Wanted Person at the Municipal Level. The suspect was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Homicide, with a recommended bail of ₱120,000.00.

Meanwhile, personnel of Siay MPS, in coordination with other law enforcement units, conducted a manhunt operation that led to the arrest of another adult male listed as the Top 2 Most Wanted Person at the Municipal Level under the E-Warrant System. The suspect was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Qualified Statutory R**e and Qualified Statutory Sexual Assault, pursuant to Article 266-A, Paragraph 2 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by R.A. No. 8353 and further amended by R.A. No. 11648, in relation to Section 5(j) of R.A. No. 8369.

In a separate operation, personnel of Naga MPS, together with Zamboanga City Police Station 11, conducted an intelligence-driven law enforcement operation against a wanted person, resulting in the arrest of an adult male. The suspect was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of R**e by Sexual Assault, under Article 266-A, Paragraph 2 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by R.A. No. 8353.

PCOL BARNARD DANIE V DASUGO, Provincial Director, emphasized that the arrest of the wanted individuals reflects the ZSBPPO’s continuing commitment to intensify its manhunt operations and uphold the rule of law.

"There will be no let-up in our efforts to locate and apprehend wanted individuals, particularly those who pose a threat to the safety and security of our communities. We will continue to strengthen our tracker teams, intensify intelligence-driven operations, and work closely with other law enforcement units to ensure that wanted persons are brought before the proper courts to face the charges against them.”
