Boi (Urdu: بوئی) is one of the 51 union councils of Abbottabad District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Boi is the word of local language Hindko & Boi means fragrance of roses. The Union Council of Boi is located in the North West part of Abbottabad District and forms part of the district's eastern border with Kashmir (Muzaffarabad District). It is located at 34°18'10N 73°26'20E an

d has an average elevation of 853 meters (2801 feet) According to Captain Wace's Report of the Land Revenue Settlement of the Hazara district 1868-1874, the Boi tract was a cluster of 25 small hill villages, situated for the most part in the hills above the Kunhar river and was originally a part of the territory of the Bamba Chief of Muzaffarabad, Sultan Hussain Khan. Ousted from his Muzaffarabad territory in 1847 he thereafter resided at the village of Boi. He died in 1860, leaving his heir, Sultan Barkat Khan as Chief. The rights of the tract were settled on the basis of the arrangement then found to be in force.The Boi villages are owned by small communities of cultivating proprietors of Sadats, Abbasi, maliks, Awans, Karrals,Qureshis,Sardars,Dhunds and other classes, excepting a few estates and lands which the chief has all along kept in his own possession and management. The Union Council is made up of the following areas Didal, Barbeen, Nakka, Bandi Pahar, Bandi Hamza, Gali Mohri, Bandi Samand, Boi, Batangi,Thanda Nara, Tori, Phogram, Chak, Sumbli Dheri, Pal, Rankot,Makrela,Dana(Tald),Lari(mehras),Sambli deri,saran,Sathal

یو سی بوئی گاؤں دھنی جو کہ ایک بڑی آبادی پر مشتمل ہے۔ اس کا ٹرانسفارمر ایک ماہ پہلے خراب ہو چکا تھا جس میں ٹرانسفارمر کی ایک کوائل جل چکی تھی اب ٹرانسفارمر صرف دو کوائلز پر ہی کام کر رہا ہے۔ جس کی وجہ سے بجلی کا لوڈ انتہائی کم ہو چکا ہے فریج تو دور کی بات پنکھے تک نہیں چل رہے عوام اس شدید گرمی میں بلک رہی ہے۔ عوامی MPA نذیر عباسی صاحب اس طرف بھی توجہ دیں اور متعلقہ ادارے کو اس چیز کا پابند کریں اس مسئلے کا جلد سے جلد حل نکالے۔ شکریہ
