گیٹس فاؤنڈیشن کے سینئر پروگرام آفیسر (SPO) نے دفتر ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ آفیسر (DHO) مالاکنڈ اور ڈسٹرکٹ پولیو کنٹرول روم (DPCR) کا دورہ کیا۔ اس موقع پر انہوں نے ڈاکٹر عرفان الدین، ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ آفیسر مالاکنڈ، ڈاکٹر عثمان خان، کوآرڈینیٹر ای پی آئی (EPI)، ڈاکٹر صغیر المعانی، کوآرڈینیٹر لیڈی ہیلتھ ورکر (LHW) پروگرام، اور ڈاکٹر قاسم آفریدی، میڈیکل سپرنٹنڈنٹ (MS)، ڈی ایچ کیو ہسپتال بٹ خیلہ سے ملاقات کی۔ اجلاس میں انسدادِ پولیو مہم، روٹین حفاظتی ٹیکہ جات (Essential Immunization) کے پروگرام کا جائزہ لیا گیا اور آئندہ ہیومن پیپیلوما وائرس (HPV) ویکسینیشن مہم کی تیاریوں، حکمتِ عملی اور مؤثر عملدرآمد پر تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا گیا۔ شرکاء نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ باہمی تعاون اور مؤثر ہم آہنگی کے ذریعے ضلع مالاکنڈ میں حفاظتی ٹیکہ جات کی کوریج کو مزید بہتر بنایا جائے گا اور تمام امیونائزیشن سرگرمیوں کو کامیابی سے پایۂ تکمیل تک پہنچایا جائے گا۔

ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ آفیسر ملاکنڈ ڈاکٹر عرفان الدین نے آج کیٹیگری ڈی ہسپتال تھانہ کا دورہ کیا۔ دورے کے دوران، انہوں نے ایمرجنسی ڈیپارٹمنٹ کا معائنہ کیا، مریضوں سے بات چیت کی، اور ہسپتال کے عملے کو ضروری ہنگامی ادویات کی بلاتعطل دستیابی کو یقینی بنانے کی ہدایت کی۔
ڈی ایچ او نے ہسپتال کی صفائی ستھرائی پر بھی تشویش کا اظہار کیا اور عملے کو ہر وقت صاف ستھرا ماحول برقرار رکھنے کی ہدایت کی۔
انہوں نے ہسپتال مینجمنٹ کمیٹی (HMC) کے اجلاس میں بھی شرکت کی، جہاں ہسپتال کی خدمات کی فراہمی اور اس کی مزید بہتری کے لیے اقدامات پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔

ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ آفیسر ملاکنڈ، ڈاکٹر عرفان الدین نے آج (Cat-D) ہسپتال آگرہ اور بی ایچ یو (BHU) انزرگئی کا دورہ کیا۔ visit کے دوران انہوں نے میڈیسن اسٹور، لیبارٹری، چوبیس گھنٹے فعال لیبر روم کی سہولیات، ہسپتال کے مختلف شعبہ جات، عملے کی حاضری اور خدمات کی مجموعی فراہمی کا جائزہ لیا۔ انہوں نے متعلقہ انچارجز کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ معیاری طبی سہولیات اور زچہ و بچہ کی دیکھ بھال کی بلاتعطل فراہمی کو یقینی بنائیں اور کسی بھی قسم کی کمی کو فوری طور پر دور کریں۔

District Health Officer Malakand, Dr. Irfan Ud din, visited Category-D Hospital Totakan. During the visit, he checked staff attendance, reviewed the availability of essential medicines, particularly in the Emergency Department, and interacted directly with patients to inquire whether they were receiving the prescribed medicines from the hospital.
He directed the Hospital In-charge to ensure the provision of maximum healthcare services and facilities to the public. Furthermore, all staff were strictly instructed to maintain a clean and hygienic hospital environment by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness at all times.

World Population Day – 11 July 2026

On the occasion of World Population Day, observed on 11 July 2026, the Population Welfare Department organized an awareness walk and a seminar. The event was attended by Dr. Irfan Ud Din, District Health Officer, along with officials from the health and population sectors.

During the seminar, participants highlighted the importance of population management, family planning, maternal and child health, and creating public awareness to promote a healthier and more sustainable society.

A meeting was held with the MS and DMS of Category-C Hospital Thana to review ER services, HR status, staff deployment, vacancies, dental unit performance, HMC functioning, supervision and monitoring, duty rosters, ultrasound services, and Shift OPDs. Directions were issued to address the identified gaps and ensure timely implementation of all decisions. The District Health Officer assured the hospital management of full administrative support from the district side to improve service delivery.

Dr.Ifran Ud Din DHO surprise visit to RHC Alladhand.

Medicine Store: The medicine store was inspected, and it was ensured that all essential medicines were available in adequate quantity.

Laboratory: The laboratory was visited, and directions were issued to ensure that all essential diagnostic investigations remain available for the public at the facility.

Dental Unit: The dental unit was inspected, and its functionality and service delivery were reviewed.

Staff Instructions: All hospital staff were directed to treat patients and attendants with respect, courtesy, and professionalism, ensuring a patient-friendly environment.

General Directions: Necessary instructions were issued to improve service delivery, maintain discipline, and ensure quality healthcare services for the public.
