High Court Sets Aside Abeyance Order
I am pleased to share a significant development in the quest for justice regarding the custodial death of Nadir Hussain Jamali.
The learned Sessions Judge/Justice of Peace, Dadu, had previously kept my Section 22-A & 22-B Cr.P.C. application in abeyance, citing the pendency of a judicial inquiry. Believing this to be a legal error, I challenged the order before the Honorable High Court Hyderabad.
The High Court has now set aside the lower court's order and directed the Sessions Judge to decide the 22-AB application on its merits within one month.
