On the occasion of *World Plastic-Free Day (3 July 2026)*, EPA DG Khan organized a seminar and an awareness walk to highlight the harmful effects of plastic pollution and promote eco-friendly alternatives. Awareness banners and panaflexes were displayed at key locations across the city, while reusable cloth bags were distributed among the public to encourage the reduction of single-use plastics and foster environmental responsibility.

As per the directions of the DG Punjab EPA, EPA Dera Ghazi Khan conducted a press conference to raise awareness about the harmful effects of polythene bags. It was highlighted that their use causes serious environmental pollution and risks to human and aquatic life.
The Assistant Director urged the public and retailers to avoid using polythene bags below 75 microns and to adopt eco-friendly alternatives like cloth bags while minimizing plastic usage.

As per the directions of the DG Punjab EPA, EPA Dera Ghazi Khan conducted a press conference to raise awareness about the harmful effects of polythene bags. It was highlighted that their use causes serious environmental pollution and risks to human and aquatic life.
