During the visits, I inspected staff attendance, classrooms, cleanliness, infrastructure, washrooms, and the overall learning environment. I also reviewed the educational and support services being provided to special children and interacted with the staff regarding institutional matters.

The admissions and enrollment campaign/survey is actively underway across the Dera Ghazi Khan Division. Heads of Institutions, teachers, and support staff are actively participating in field surveys to identify differently-abled children for prospective admission and connect them with appropriate special education services.

This initiative reflects the vision of the Special Education Department to ensure that every child with special needs receives quality education, develops meaningful skills, and gets the opportunity to become confident and independent.

Our teams are working at the grassroots level to identify every eligible child and bring them into the educational system.

During the visit, I inspected the ongoing Maintenance & Repair (M&R) work, reviewed the cleanliness and overall condition of the school, and assessed the readiness of classrooms, facilities, and other essential arrangements for welcoming students back.

Necessary directions were issued to ensure that the remaining M&R work is completed promptly and that the school is fully prepared to provide a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for special students upon reopening. 📚✨
