From Tribal Valleys to National Vision — The Inspiring Journey of Muhammad Bilal Orakzai
Muhammad Bilal Orakzai, a resilient youth from the remote areas between Orakzai and Hangu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has transformed challenges into triumphs with unwavering determination. Despite lacking sports infrastructure and coaching facilities, Muhammad Bilal started playing badminton in 2014 with minimal resources, practicing in dusty schoolyards and narrow streets. His hard work earned him multiple district and divisional titles, including three private school championships and two Hangu District Badminton titles. He proudly represented Orakzai in the All-FATA Badminton Championship, reaching the semi-finals.
Beyond sports, Bilal is a graduate in English Literature and a district-level public speaking champion. He passionately advocates for youth empowerment and currently serves as a Youth Representative in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Young Leaders Parliament, focusing on youth consultation, policy advocacy, and regional development. He is the President of Youth Of Orakzai
Bilal’s vision is clear: to become a civil servant dedicated to uplifting underdeveloped regions through strategic investments in youth, education, and sports. “I have always protected my dreams. My goal is not just to move forward myself, but to carry my region forward with me,” he says. His inspiring journey embodies resilience and ambition, encouraging young Pakistanis to overcome obstacles and lead with purpose.
