The Department of Soil & Water Conservation, Haripur, conducted an interactive awareness and training session with farmers from the villages of Nilan Bhoto, Kharian, and Makhniyal to promote sustainable soil and water conservation practices.

During the session, farmers were made aware of the importance of conserving soil and water resources to improve agricultural productivity and ensure environmental sustainability. Participants were also briefed on the activities being carried out by the Department of Soil & Water Conservation, Haripur, including the available soil and water conservation interventions, as well as the technical and financial support provided to eligible farmers.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion, during which farmers shared their concerns, asked questions, and received practical guidance from the department’s technical team.

محکمہ سائل اینڈ واٹر کنزرویشن، ہری پور کی جانب سے نیلاں بھٹو، کھاریاں اور مکھنیال کے کسانوں کے لیے مٹی اور پانی کے پائیدار تحفظ کے فروغ کے مقصد سے ایک آگاہی اور تربیتی نشست کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔

اس نشست کے دوران کسانوں کو زرعی پیداوار میں بہتری اور ماحولیاتی پائیداری کے لیے مٹی اور پانی کے تحفظ کی اہمیت سے آگاہ کیا گیا۔ شرکاء کو ضلع ہری پور میں محکمہ تحفظِ مٹی و آب کی جانب سے جاری سرگرمیوں، دستیاب مٹی و پانی تحفظی اقدامات، اور اہل کسانوں کو فراہم کی جانے والی تکنیکی و مالی معاونت کے بارے میں بھی تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی۔
