As per the worthy Assistant Director’s Sr. instructions, the hiring process of janitors has been successfully completed in Village Council Meelam. A total of 01 Loader Rickshaw Driver and 03 Janitors have been selected.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to them on their appointment and wish them success in performing their duties with dedication and sincerity.

In connection with dengue awareness, On the direction of Worthy Assistant Director Sr. LG & RDD Haripur the Secretary of Village Council Meelam distributed informational pamphlets at various shops, fuel stations, sand depots, flour mills, and other public places. Special instructions and warnings were also given at locations where water tanks were present, emphasizing the need for proper care and preventive measures against dengue.

This effort aimed to educate the community and encourage collective responsibility in safeguarding public health.

A Dengue Awareness Walk was successfully organized under the supervision of Village Council Meelam. The purpose of this activity was to educate the local community about the dangers of dengue fever and the importance of preventive measures.

Participants were informed about maintaining cleanliness in and around their homes, eliminating stagnant water, and adopting precautionary practices to prevent the spread of dengue. The walk highlighted the shared responsibility of citizens in keeping the environment safe and healthy.

The initiative reflects the commitment of Village Council Meelam to safeguard public health and to raise awareness about critical health issues through collective community efforts.
