A two-day Foundational Training on Child Protection, Case Management and Referral System for officers of Sindh Police, organized by UNICEF, commenced today at Shaheed Abdul Aziz Bullo Police Training School (SAAB PTS), Hyderabad.

The training was attended by police officers from Hyderabad, Shaheed Benazirabad (SBA), Mirpurkhas, PTC Shahdadpur, PTS Larkana, SAAB PTS Hyderabad, and RTC Jam Nawaz Ali, who actively participated in the learning activities.

The opening session was conducted by Ms. Mehwish Maria, who highlighted the objectives, significance, and expected outcomes of the training, particularly focusing on strengthening police officers' understanding and response to child protection matters.

Day-1 sessions were led by UNICEF Master Trainers Mr. Muharram Ali Mirani, Inspector, and Mr. Kashif Raza Soomro, SIP, who delivered informative sessions on Child Protection, Case Management, and Referral Systems, followed by an interactive group activity to strengthen participants' practical understanding and engagement.

🇵🇰 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟳𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 🇵🇰

Shaheed Abdul Aziz Bullo Police Training School (SAAB PTS), Hyderabad celebrated the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan with great national spirit, pride, and enthusiasm.

Mr. Abrar Muhammad Awan, SPS, SP / Principal, SAAB PTS Hyderabad, along with officers, instructors and staff, participated in the celebrations. The ceremony featured the hoisting of the National Flag, the National Anthem, and patriotic songs, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride.

Tributes were paid to the brave martyrs of the Pakistan Armed Forces and Sindh Police, while the significance of unity, faith, discipline, patriotism, and dedicated public service was reaffirmed.

The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the peace, prosperity, progress, and security of Pakistan, followed by the distribution of sweets among the participants.

🔹 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 | 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 & 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲

Mr. Abrar Muhammad Awan, SPS, SP / Principal, SAAB PTS Hyderabad, conducted a formal Orientation and Interaction Session with the newly arrived trainees of Recruit Course Batch No. RTC/04/2026 and Lower School Course Batch No. LSC/01/2026.

The Principal warmly welcomed the newly inducted Recruit Course trainees and congratulated them on joining Sindh Police. He also welcomed the participants of the Lower School Course, who are undergoing promotional training as part of their professional career progression within the department.

During the session, the Principal provided a comprehensive briefing on SOP–2023 (Amended) and explained the policies, rules, and guidelines of the Training Branch. He emphasized the importance of discipline, professionalism, punctuality, integrity, commitment to training, and adherence to institutional standards, while highlighting the responsibilities expected from trainees according to the nature of their respective courses.

The session concluded on an inspiring and motivating note, with the Principal encouraging all trainees to make the most of their training and uphold the highest standards of discipline, professionalism, integrity, and public service throughout their training and future careers.

🔹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 “𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁” (𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵-𝟮𝟭)

A three-day Capacity Building Training Course on “Gender-Based Violence Management” (Batch-21) was successfully conducted at Shaheed Abdul Aziz Bullo Police Training School (SAAB PTS), Hyderabad, with active participation from police officers of the Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas Ranges.

The course aimed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and professional capacity of police officers for the effective prevention, investigation, and management of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) cases in accordance with relevant laws, procedures, and best practices.

Professor Amar Sindh, Chairperson, Department of Philosophy, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, joined the programme as the Guest Speaker and delivered an insightful lecture on various dimensions of Gender-Based Violence, with particular emphasis on women's empowerment, gender equality, and the role of society in addressing GBV.

Mr. Abrar Muhammad Awan, SPS, SP / Principal, SAAB PTS Hyderabad, warmly welcomed the distinguished guest speaker and presented her with a Shield of Honour in recognition of her valuable contribution to the training programme.

The training was led by Mr. Waqar Ali Palh, Inspector / In-charge Capacity Building Courses (CBC), SAAB PTS Hyderabad, along with a dedicated team of trainers, who conducted informative and practical sessions on relevant legal provisions, victim-centred approaches, investigation procedures, evidence collection, and effective case management.

🎓 At the conclusion of the programme, the Chief Guest distributed Certificates of Participation among the participants.

🔹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗺-𝗲-𝗦𝗵𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗵 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲

On the occasion of Youm-e-Shuhada Sindh Police, SAAB Police Training School (PTS) Hyderabad paid solemn tribute to the brave martyrs of Sindh Police who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Following Zuhr Namaz, a Quran Khuwani was held for the Isaal-e-Sawab of the Shuhada, followed by special prayers for their eternal peace and for strength and patience for their bereaved families. Officers, instructors, staff, and recruits also gathered at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay homage and reaffirm their commitment to the values of courage, sacrifice, and selfless public service.

After Asr Namaz, a commemorative ceremony was held in which Mr. Abrar Muhammad Awan, SPS, SP / Principal, SAAB PTS Hyderabad, paid rich tribute to the martyrs and highlighted their unparalleled sacrifices for the protection of society and the nation.

The ceremony also included speeches by officers, reaffirming that the sacrifices of our Shuhada will forever remain a source of inspiration for every member of Sindh Police.

The event concluded with a dinner attended by the officers, staff, and recruits of SAAB PTS Hyderabad.
