A successful Cyber Safety Awareness Session under the project Safe Online Future for Teens (SOFT) was conducted at Government Girls High School Qasimabad and Government Girls High School Noor Muhammad No. 1 in collaboration with PTA and with support from TikTok.
The session aimed to raise awareness among students regarding responsible use of social media, online safety, protection of personal information, identification of misinformation, and positive digital engagement. Students actively participated in the interactive session and appreciated the valuable guidance provided for ensuring a safer online environment.
Such initiatives play an important role in promoting digital literacy and creating awareness among young learners about safe and responsible online behavior.

“Transparency and accountability are the foundations of a strong and effective education system.”
Following the directives of the Honourable Minister for Education, Syed Sardar Ali Shah, and under the guidance of Secretary School Education & Literacy Department, Zahid Ali Abbasi, the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, has successfully launched the staff registration process for the FRAME Mobile Application to implement attendance monitoring through facial recognition technology across the province.
In continuation of this initiative, the Facial Verification System for teachers was successfully conducted at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mehran under the supervision of the Education Department, Hyderabad, to strengthen transparency and ensure quality education.
The Office of the Taluka Education Officer Female ES/HS Qasimabad sincerely appreciates the valuable presence, cooperation, and support of the Directors, Chief Monitoring Officer (CMO), DEOs, DDOs, ADOs, and TEOs and GSTA Officials who remained actively present throughout the process and ensured its smooth and successful completion.
Special thanks are extended to the respected Principal, Headmistress, teachers, and supporting staff of GGHSS Mehran, Qasimabad and the Officials and workers of GSTA whose excellent arrangements, dedication, and hospitality made the entire activity convenient, organized, and comfortable for everyone.
The technical team from Karachi is also highly appreciated for their valuable guidance and assistance throughout the day.

Today, on 12th May 2026, the final arrangements and closing preparations for tomorrow’s Facial Recognition (FRAMES) Task were successfully completed at Taluka Qasimabad.
The visit was also honored by the presence of the District Education Officer (DEO) Sir Aziz-ur-Rehman Dahot, who reviewed and inspected the arrangements made for the smooth conduct of the event.
During the preparations, all block-wise planning, school tagging, seating arrangements, and allocation of schools and staff members were finalized properly. Necessary monitoring and organizational measures were completed successfully to ensure a systematic and well-managed process.
All arrangements were found to be satisfactory and up to the mark. We are hopeful that tomorrow’s Facial Verification Task will be conducted smoothly and successfully.

On Monday, 11th May 2026, a meeting was convened at the office of Taluka Education Officer ES/HS Female Qasimabad, regarding the Facial Recognition Verification Initiative (FRAMES) Program. The purpose of the meeting was to ensure effective planning, coordination, monitoring, and facilitation of the program scheduled to take place on 13th May 2026 in Taluka Qasimabad.
The meeting was attended by the following officers:
• Mr. Aijaz Laghari – TEO ES/HS Male, Qasimabad
• Madam Rafia Jamal Soomro – TEO Primary Female, Qasimabad
• Mr. Nizam Panhwar – TEO Primary Male, Qasimabad

After the meeting, the Taluka officers paid a visit to GGHS Mehran, Qasimabad, where the Facial recognition will be held and met with the administration.

During the visit, comprehensive discussions were carried out regarding school visits and monitoring strategies to ensure the successful and accurate completion of the facial verification process for all staff.
