Under the leadership of Mayor Hyderabad Kashif Ali Shoro , the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) intensified its anti-dengue and anti-malaria efforts by conducting a comprehensive fumigation drive in UC-132, Hussainabad Town, Hyderabad overseeing by Syeda Huma Naqvi . The operation was carried out to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and protect residents from the growing risk of vector-borne diseases, particularly dengue and malaria.
HMC teams covered streets, lanes, drains, and surrounding public spaces, ensuring thorough fumigation across densely populated areas. Modern equipment and effective spraying techniques were used to maximize impact, especially in locations identified as high-risk due to stagnant water and recent mosquito activity. The initiative reflects the administration’s continued commitment to public health and preventive action.
Residents of the area appreciated the timely intervention and cooperated with municipal teams throughout the drive.
