NRKNA Holds Independence Day Seminar on “Paigham-e-Pakistan: A Manifesto of a New State of Madinah”

As part of its Independence Day celebrations, the National Rahmatul lil Aalameen Wa Khatamun Nabiyyin Authority (NRKNA) organized a seminar on “پیغام پاکستان جدید ریاست مدینہ کا منشور” at its Committee Room in Islamabad. In his address, Dr. Zia-ul-Haq highlighted the significance of Mithaq-e-Madinah (Charter of Madinah) as a remarkable model of an inclusive and cohesive society. Its underlying spirit is to strengthen the larger identity of being Pakistani, without losing the distinct religious, linguistic, cultural and other identities of citizens. He emphasized that such an approach provides an important foundation for peace, inclusion and social harmony in Pakistan.

The address was followed by an interactive question and answer session in which participants discussed different aspects of national identity, social cohesion and peaceful coexistence.

Chairman NRKNA, Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Nadeem, thanked Professor Dr. Zia-ul-Haq for his thought-provoking address and appreciated his valuable services towards realizing the vision of a peaceful and inclusive Pakistan. He also informed the audience that NRKNA is planning a number of activities in the coming days to further promote the message of Seerah, national unity, peace and responsible citizenship.
