The Excise & Taxation Department/Motor Registering Authority, ICT, Islamabad, regulates registration of vehicles, levy and collection of various taxes, duties and fees etc. imposed by the Government from time to time including Entertainment Duty, Education Cess, Road Tax and With-holding/Income Tax etc. for the vehicles owned by the Foreign Missions/Embassies and United Nation etc. These functions

are performed through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This Department also regulates sale of Pakistan made liquor to the non-Muslims, mentholated/rectified spirit and path dine etc
