"Unpaid Internship is an Unpaid Stressful Labour"

During summer holidays, most undergraduate students go through both volunteer and mandatory internships. However, almost all of these internships are unpaid.

Leave the stipend aside, they hardly even get a cup of tea. The only reward they receive daily is the backlog of pending tasks from the department where they unfortunately land as " ". Being unfamiliar with the work environment, most of them go through stress during those days.

This is a clear example of unpaid, highly stressful labor. Having once been a student/intern myself, I humbly request everyone on my friend list who is supervising an intern in any capacity to please be kind to them and pay them at least a minimal stipend or pocket money, or at least offer them a cup of tea or a daily lunch/meal. This would encourage them, and your kind gesture would have a lasting effect on these young minds.

I would like to appreciate for their generosity and professionalism. During my 6-month internship, they not only offered us a stipend/pocket money but also access to one of the finest libraries, a gymnasium, and a swimming pool, with daily tea/refreshments and lunch and dinner vouchers during late-sitting events.

فکسڈ پے پر سلیکشن: Fixed Pay Basis Appointments

A few words for the unallocated ones.

ڈگری کے بعد ایک گریجویٹ کے لئے سب سے بڑی پریشانی یا ان کی دلی خواہش "نوکری" مطلب "سرکاری نوکری" ہوتی ہے۔

ظاہر ہے ان سے خاندان ، دوستوں اور گلی/محلے میں یہی سوال ہوتا ہے کہ "نوکری/Job" کا کیا بنا۔ the most annoying question of that specific time

اج صبح سے سوشل میڈیا پر کافی MBBS graduate دوستوں خیبرپختونخوا ہیلتھ ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے Fixed Pay basis Appointments کے میرٹ پر اعتراض کے پوسٹ دیکھ رہا ہوں ۔

عرض ہے کہ خیبرپختونخوا میں پراجیکٹ/Fixed Pay Basis کے جتنے پوسٹنگ ہی اس میں چند ایک امیدواروں کو چھوڑ کے سارے کے سارے سیاسی ہیں۔ چاہے وہ ہیلتھ کے ہیں یا تعلیم یا دیگر ڈیپارٹمنٹس کے۔ یہ سیاسی سفارش تحصیل سے شروع ہوکر ضلع سے ہوکر صوبہ کے دارلخلافہ تک پہنچتی ہے۔

جس کی جتنی دعا سلام ہے اس بچے/بچی کو ڈاکٹر، استاد ، نرس وغیرہ لگا دیا جاتا ہے۔ Unfortunately, this is the law of routine.

خیر، میرے جتنے دوست یا جونیئرز کل Medical Officers Appointment کے میرٹ لسٹ میں اپنا نام نہ پاکر حیران و پریشان ہیں ان سے درخواست ہے کہ مطمئن رہے، اپ کی سلیکشن محض اس وجہ سے نہیں ہوئی کہ اپ نے MBBS /Nursing ڈگری تو لی ہے لیکن کسی کا سیاسی چمچہ بننے کی skills ابھی نہیں سیکھے۔ تو اپ سے اس skills کے نمبرات کٹ گئے ہیں۔ لھذا اپ میرٹ پر پورا نہیں اترتے۔

باقی دوستوں مشورہ یہ ہے کہ اگر ضرور سرکاری نوکری ہی کرنی ہے تو محنت جاری رکھو ، Public Service Commission/مقابلے کے امتحانات کی تیاری کرو ، جتنے اپ 5/7 سال میڈکل ڈگری پر دماغ کپا چکے ہیں اگر مزید 5/6 ماہ مقابلے کے امتحانات جیسے KPPSC یا FPSC کے لئے بیٹھ جاؤ تو اس نوکری یا اس سے بہتر نوکری ڈھونڈنے کے لئے کم ازکم اس سیاسی چمچہ گیری والے سٹیج کو خود عبور کرکے سرکاری کھاتے میں گھس جائے گے۔ Trust me.

اور ہاں، خیبرپختونخوا کے مقابلے میں وفاقی حکومت Federal Government کے Ministry/Divisions/Attached departments میں اس سے بہتر پروجیکٹ کے نوکریاں ہیں۔ ان کے لئے اپلائی کرکے محنت کرو۔ بیروزگاری کے ایک سال میں 20/30 اپلائی بھی کرلو تو کچھ نہیں۔

اور ساتھ میں باہر دنیا کی سکالرشپ اور جاب کو بھی Top Priority رکھو۔ میرے حساب کتاب کے مطابق جتنی تنخواہ عزت سے آپ وہاں 1 سال میں کماوگے باخدا یہاں 20 سال میں وہ ںے عزت ہوکر بھی نہیں کما سکتے۔

اخر میں ، جنکی جس طرح بھی appointment ہوئی ان سب کو بہت بہت مبارک ہو۔ خدارا اب اپ سب اپنی زمہ داری/JD پر دھیان دیں ۔

پاکستان میڈیکل اینڈ ڈینٹل کونسل نے MBBS اور BDS پروگراموں میں داخلوں کیلئے ایم ڈی کیٹ کا شیڈول جاری کر دیا ہے۔ آن لائن رجسٹریشن کا باقاعدہ آغاز 22 جون 2026 سے ہوگی جبکہ 08 جولائی 2026 تک رجسٹریشن جاری رہے گی۔
ایم ڈی کیٹ ٹیسٹ 16 اگست 2026 (بروز اتوار) کو منعقد ہوگا۔ ایم ڈی کیٹ ٹیسٹ کیلئے رجسٹریشن فیس 9,000 روپے مقرر ہے۔

HEC Paper less /Digital Attestation !
