وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَنفُسَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًاo وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ عُدْوَانًا وَظُلْمًا فَسَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِ نَارًا وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللّهِ يَسِيرًاo

’’اور اپنی جانوں کو مت ہلاک کرو، بے شک اﷲ تم پر مہربان ہے اور جو کوئی تعدِّی اور ظلم سے ایسا کرے گا تو ہم عنقریب اسے (دوزخ کی) آگ میں ڈال دیں گے، اور یہ اﷲ پر بالکل آسان ہے‘‘

النساء، 4: 29، 30
