Meet some of the faces powering the Pakistan Life Savers Programme in , the heart of our movement.

Today, we had the pleasure of connecting with focal persons from our partner institutes across Karachi, including Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS), Sindh Emergency Rescue Service 1122, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases - NICVD, Dow University of Health Sciences, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, and First Response Initiative of Pakistan.

The luncheon brought everyone together to celebrate our partners’ efforts, reflect on the progress made so far, and plan how we can take and training to even more communities across Karachi

What is an AED? An Automated External Defibrillator is a portable device that uses pads placed on the chest to analyze the heart’s electrical rhythm and, if it detects a dangerous rhythm like ventricular fibrillation or pulseless ventricular tachycardia, delivers a controlled shock to help restore a normal heartbeat.

You do not need to be a doctor, the AED guides you step by step so you can act confidently in an emergency and potentially save a life.
