Delegation from International Police Association and Anti-Narcotics FANUS Visits Sunshine Rehabilitation Center
Karachi, July 20, 2024 – Sunshine Rehabilitation Welfare Center welcomed a delegation from the International Police Association (IPA) and Anti-Narcotics FANUS at its Mominabad branch to strengthen ties and promote collaborative efforts against drug abuse.
Led by Chairman IPA Khadim Hussain Rind, Secretary General Shehla Qureshi, Vice-Chairman Abdul Khalid Ansari & IPA Senior Member Tariq Jadoon, the delegation toured the facility, interacted with patients, and gained insights into the center's comprehensive rehabilitation services. Chairman Rind praised the center's efforts, emphasizing IPA's commitment to supporting such initiatives. Secretary General Qureshi commended the holistic approach, including medical treatment, counseling, and skill development.
Centers like these are the vision of IG Police Ghulam Nabi Memon to combat crime and rehabilitate individuals, equipping them with skills for societal reintegration. Under IG Memon's guidance, SSP Korangi District Tauheed Rehman Memon, alongside the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and other law enforcement agencies, is actively fighting narcotics and implementing community policing in Korangi district. Their efforts, supported by local stakeholders, aim to establish a peaceful, narcotic-free Korangi.
