یکم جون 2026: چیئرمین کراچی پورٹ ٹرسٹ، ریئر ایڈمرل شاہد احمد SI(M) SBt (ر) نے لاہور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (LCCI) کا سرکاری دورہ کیا، جہاں انہوں نے تاجر برادری سے ملاقات کی اور کراچی پورٹ کو ایک جدید، مؤثر اور ڈیجیٹل طور پر مربوط ٹرانس شپمنٹ حب میں تبدیل کرنے کے لیے کے پی ٹی کے وژن سے آگاہ کیا۔

تاجروں کے ساتھ ایک تعاملی نشست کے دوران انہوں نے بندرگاہ کی جدیدکاری، ڈیجیٹل تبدیلی، کنٹینر ہینڈلنگ استعداد میں اضافہ، کیپیٹل ڈریجنگ، کارگو کے قیام کے دورانیے میں کمی اور میری ٹائم بزنس ڈسٹرکٹ کے قیام سمیت اہم اقدامات پر روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے پاکستان کی معاشی ترقی میں کاروباری برادری کے کلیدی کردار پر بھی زور دیا۔

لاہور چیمبر کے اراکین نے کے پی ٹی کے اصلاحاتی ایجنڈے کو سراہتے ہوئے اسے تجارت، سرمایہ کاری اور علاقائی روابط کے فروغ کے لیے نہایت اہم قرار دیا

Chairman KPT Visits Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry- LCCI

June 1, 2026: Chairman Karachi Port Trust, Rear Admiral Shahid Ahmed SI(M) SBt (Retd), paid an official visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), where he engaged with the business community and shared KPT’s vision of transforming Karachi Port into a modern, efficient, and digitally integrated transshipment hub.

During an interactive session, he highlighted key initiatives including port modernization, digital transformation, enhanced container handling capacity, capital dredging, reduced dwell time, and the development of the Maritime Business District. He emphasized the crucial role of the business community in driving Pakistan’s economic growth.

LCCI members appreciated KPT’s reform agenda and acknowledged its importance in strengthening trade, investment, and regional connectivity.

Oil Piers, and Boat Basin Jetty.
