Under the special directives of the Deputy Commissioner Karak, Mr. Asad Sarwar, and Director Youth affairs Mr Abbas Afridi the District Youth Office Karak organized a highly impactful two-day training workshop titled "Empowering Women through Beautification Skills." The primary objective of this two-day event was to equip local women of District Karak with modern, professional beauty and grooming skills, enabling them to pursue sustainable livelihoods, foster financial independence, and contribute actively to the socio-economic development of their households.
​Throughout the intensive two-day sessions, expert trainers provided the participants with hands-on, practical guidance covering advanced skin care, makeup artistry, and salon management techniques. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from young women across the district, who lauded the initiative as a landmark opportunity to build self-confidence and unlock new entrepreneurial avenues in the beauty industry.
​Speaking on the vision behind the initiative, the District Youth Officer Karak emphasized that empowering female youth with market-driven skills remains a top priority. Guided by the leadership and vision of Deputy Commissioner Mr. Asad Sarwar, the District Youth Office Karak is committed to organizing more constructive, skill-based programs in the future to ensure that local women can play a vital role in the mainstream economic landscape of the region.

In line with the directives of the Director of Youth Affairs, the District Youth Office Karak organized an interactive lunch program today for the youth of District Karak. This event successfully brought together dynamic young leaders from various fields to discuss community development and youth empowerment. During the session, young journalists shared their insights on highlighting local issues, while social media influencers focused on promoting a positive image of District Karak through digital media. Additionally, young political activists shared their thoughts on youth representation in leadership and decision-making, and young social activists highlighted crucial grassroots community initiatives and welfare projects. The interactive session concluded with a strong commitment from all participants to work collaboratively for the development and betterment of the youth of Karak.

The Directorate of Youth Affairs KP has released the cumulative progress report of the Ehsaas Naujawan Programme as of June 2026, highlighting the programme's continued contribution towards youth entrepreneurship and economic empowerment through interest-free financing.

The report presents key achievements, including the number of applications received, approved, and disbursed, the total amount sanctioned and released, beneficiary statistics, fund recovery, and the performance of implementing partners—The Bank of Khyber and Akhuwat. It also provides a comprehensive overview of fund allocation, utilization, and the programme's outreach among male, female, minority, and Madaris youth.

The Ehsaas Naujawan Programme remains committed to creating sustainable economic opportunities for the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by promoting entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and self-employment, enabling young people to build successful enterprises and contribute to the province's socio-economic development.

Today on 9th July, District youth officer karak along with AD Works Mr. Ijaz Khan, Ashiq Munir, Faisal Jan Focal person to MNA Mr. Shahid Khattak and Junaid Khan Focal person to Mr. Khurshid Khattak Minister for livestock conducted a comprehensive physical inspection of the proposed site of Jawan Markaz. The Revenue Department staff were on-site to verify land boundaries, ownership status, and official property records. Concurrently, the C&W Department representatives assessed the existing structures on the plot to initiate the formal process for issuing a Demolition Certificate, clearing the way for future construction.

On the direction of Deputy Commissioner karak
A visit was conducted to the Government Technical & Vocational College Karak regarding the planning and arrangement of various skill-based training programs for youth of District Karak.

During the visit, detailed discussions were held with the college administration and relevant staff regarding the availability of technical facilities, training infrastructure, and possible areas of collaboration for providing demand-driven skills to young individuals. The importance of skill development, vocational education, and practical training was highlighted to enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and livelihood opportunities among youth.

Various skill-based training areas were discussed, including technical trades, vocational skills, digital skills, and other market-oriented training programs. The objective of these initiatives is to equip youth with modern and practical skills according to current job market requirements and promote self-employment opportunities.
During the visit, various training laboratories and workshops were inspected, including:
Auto Mechanic Workshop
AC & Refrigerator Technology Lab
Solar Energy & Inverter Technology Lab
Electrical Workshop
Welding Workshop
Computer Lab
Other Technical Training Facilities
The college administration assured full cooperation and support for the successful arrangement of training sessions. It was agreed that future training programs would be planned in coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure maximum participation and benefit for the youth of District Karak.

The visit concluded with a commitment to strengthen collaboration between concerned departments and the Government Technical & Vocational College Karak for the promotion of skill development initiatives.I can also convert it into an official activity report format from District Youth Office Karak if required.
