Karak is setting on the ocean of natural resources of all kinds including Salt, Gypsum, China Clay, Uranium, Soft Stone, Sand, Crush Stone and much more are being discovered but the most important one is Hydro Carbon that makes Karak one of the richest cities of Pakistan. The Royalty of Hydrocarbon is in Billions and increasing with the production of more wills producing Oil and Gas. Right now Kar
ak has 62 wills in which 5 are operating and from these 5 gas plants Karak is receiving the Royalty in Billions which totally misused. There is no proper planing and the corrupt political leaders are using the Royalty for their personal gain and vote bank. So far no audit has taken place of what has happened to the billions of rupees Karak has received since the first installment. Even more, the provincial government is using the Royalty of Karak in other districts or in other projects that have no direct benefits to the people of Karak. We have launched this Orbaal Movement (Orbaal Tehreek) to raise awareness and organize people to have a Master Plan for Karak to make it an exemplary city, stop the corrupt politicians of misusing the Royalty and make them accountable, and have proper check and balance. The people of Karak has the right of how to use the Royalty of our natural resources and we the Orbaal Tehreek has a greater plan of how to do so. Anything built for the Oil like Oil Refinery shall be built in Karak District. Anything built with Royalty of Karak's natural resources shall be built for the People of Karak within the District of Karak.
