Mr. Atiq Ur Rehman, District Public Prosecutor, Bajaur, delivered a consultative session on investigation and prosecution matters at the Office of the Superintendent of Police (Investigation), Bajaur.

The session was attended by Investigating Officers, OIIs, SHOs, and Muharrirs of District Bajaur. The participants were briefed on key legal and procedural aspects of criminal investigation, with emphasis on improving the quality of investigations, ensuring legal compliance, strengthening coordination between investigation and prosecution, and enhancing the effective administration of justice.

At the request of the District Bar Association, Bajaur, the District Public Prosecutor Bajaur, Mr. Atiq Ur Rahman conducted a comprehensive orientation session for aspiring candidates appearing in the upcoming Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) Screening Test.
The session focused on the expected examination pattern, preparation strategy, key legal subjects, and practical tips to help participants perform effectively in the competitive screening test. Participants were also guided on time management, question-solving techniques, and the importance of conceptual understanding of criminal law and procedural statutes.
A large number of young lawyers attended the session and actively participated in the interactive discussion, reflecting their keen interest in serving the justice sector.
The DPP Bajaur appreciated the initiative of the District Bar Association Bajaur in facilitating professional development opportunities for young members of the legal fraternity and wished all candidates success in the upcoming examination.

In compliance with the directions of the worthy Director General Prosecution, Mr. Rafiq Muhammad, the District Public Prosecutor, Mr. Atiq-ur-Rehman, visited Sub Jail Bajaur and personally met with all the inmates. During the visit, he discussed their respective cases, reviewed the status of proceedings pending before the courts, and assured them that all possible efforts would be made to facilitate them in accordance with the law.
