Yesterday 13 july 1pm i took My daughter Name Zoya Waseem 13 months old with complaint of vomiting to lifeline hospitals emergency she was examined by Dr Ali hassan medical officer on duty , i asked him twice if he can treat childrens or not , does this hospital have facility to deal with paediatric emergency, i was told don't worry we do treat childrens of 1 year or above then staff passed iv line and Doctor prescribed onset injection , My daughter was active and was playing with staff and her pulse was 109 she was not severely dehydrated or in serious emergency condition , when she infused injection my daughter started to hold her breath and her lips became cyanosed on asking i was told nothing will happen , i inquired again because she became unconciouss and she stops breathing , staff removed needle immediately and on request to doctor he checked my daughter and there were no equipements to deal with any emergency doctor became confused and left ER to ask someone about how to deal this emergency, and he was tumbling and then he infused avil injection intravenously we told him that her heart is not beating but he was clue less and asked us to go to Doctor's hospital johar town which was 2 minutes away from this hospital , we reached doctors within 2 minutes,my daughter was not breathing on reaching Doctor's hospitals emergency they declared her receive dead , my request is to seal this hospital and launch enquiry against hospital and doctor
hospital because there were no emergency equipements to deal emergency there was no resuscitation trolley and there was no paediatrician to deal with it
and they were still dealing emergency
Doctor was not trained to deal with this emergency situation
and seal the pharmacy to check the expiry of medicines , i lost my daughter
Note: my daughtet was with GCS 15/15 and with no other medical ailment just came to ER for vomiting only , she was playing with her toys and her sisters and in hospitals she was playing with staff nurse too it all happened in 1 minute during infusion of injection
injection's reaction do occur but how to deal with reaction / shock was not known by hospital and doctor
