Provincial Bioethics Committee PBC, Punjab, Pakistan Notified & established on 14th March 2014, as an advisory body on “bioethics” to the Punjab Health Department (s).

Essential functions:

Promote & facilitate ethics in healthcare services delivery & research and health/medical education. Promote & technical support to Research Ethics & Health Care Ethics sub-committees and Institutional Bioethics Committees. Develop bilateral linkages with the Bioethics Review Committees in public & private Medical/Health teaching institutions, Universities, and district health departments. Develop guidelines on significant & contemporary health issues
