Consequent upon the election of Anjuman-e-Markaziyya Gujjran, Pakistan in the Year 2007 (for a term of 3 Years) when Ch. The Chief Editorship of Gujjar Gazette we also assigned to me in spite of my not being a big scholar. At this crucial point of history it was essential for me to understand &
analyze the policy envisaged by the predecessors for this only print media of the Anjuman. My mental condition at that moment can be illustrated by an Urdu verse said by some wiseman as under:-
(Hesitation to accept new turn of life & affiliation to old and obsolete traditions evolves a very difficult stage for a nation to arrive at a progressive policy of life). I thought over the formation, the out-look & the get up of the Gazette. The steps to be taken for its development were not easy to be communicated or conveyed to the M.C., because according to the previous policy the President was the sole authority to manage or order the Publication of the Gazette according to his own whims, liking & sweet pleasure. Masood Ahmed, President, Anjuman-e-Markaziyya Gujjran to open my mind & plan to him. I was really astonished rather stunned when the President directed me to work under full liberty & with free hand. Practically he gave the message that he does not believe in conventional restraints and rather he wants activities with revolutionary spirit. I may reveal that I have known from many other sources that Ch. Masood Ahmad was famous for his revolutionary steps even during his Government Service. And thus temperamentally he provides full freedom of thought & action to all the members of the Managing Committee. The Freedom extended to me moved me to introduce the developed & recent trends of printing to publish the Gujjar Gazette in presentable and complete form of a Gazette. Under the present policy every member of the community or reader can convey his opinion. Every member can criticize in positive & constructive way every office bearer of the Managing Committee of the Anjuman irrespective of his portfolio and status. According to my point of view it is the positive or constructive criticism that brings maturity & prosperity to an institution. First of all I introduced an E-mail address for the Gazette to facilitate all those who want to send their writings from inland & as well as from foreign lands. It brought all the concerned & readers into direct contact with the Chief Editor. Then I thought that in this era of Information Technology the Anjuman Markaziyya Gujjaran & its activities can be brought out of limited sphere to wider and direct range of information. So direct contact of the masses in and outside the country was possible only through Website. I submitted this proposal to the President. I also proposed to release Gujjar Gazette on line. The President, Ch. Masood Ahmed, agreed to my proposal & assured me complete support in the way & gesture which made me believe with-out hesitation that these manners, behaviour & soft temperament could not be inculcated in the Person of Ch. Masood Ahmad without brought up, teaching & insight of a great scholar & very kind father like Ch. Barkat Ali Shamim. The Great Sacrifice of Hazrat Ismail (A.S) was certainly an outcome of the Insight which has been described by poet of the East, Allama Mohammad Iqbal in these words:
(It was the effect of Insight & under no role of a school (in general) that moved Hazrat Ismail (A.S) to obey his father by complete submission for sacrifice of soul & body.) I cannot overlook the valuable suggestions & timely cooperation of Ch. Ali Mohammad Sabir, General Secretary, which helped me like a candle in complete dark and consequently we have been able to step forward for a new & high destination.
