🚨 MAJOR RAID ON ILLEGAL DAWAKHANA IN FAISALABAD🚨
Under the supervision of the Chief Drugs Controller Punjab, the Drug Squad Faisalabad conducted a raid at _Saadat Dawakhana, Rasool Pura, Faisalabad_.
Syed Abdul Latif Shah was present during the raid, while Hazrat Maulana Hakeem Syed Munir Hussain Shah Noori, Naqshbandi, Norani, Qalandri, Chishti, Qadri was absent.
They were falsely claiming to cure _50+ diseases with guarantee_ — including arthritis, cancer, infertility, impotency, diabetes, body building, skin whitening, etc.
What was found???
⚠️ An _illegal manufacturing unit_ operating inside the Dawakhana.
⚠️ Seized: Huge quantities of raw materials, expired/inactive materials, printing & packaging material, empty bottles/jars, weighing scales (1-1000 kg), grinders, sieves, mixers, granulator, tablet machines, sachet filling machines, tablets, capsules, powders, etc.
⚠️ _Spurious UNEXO tablets_ — Light green tablets embossed "UNEXO" (∼100k units) + empty UNEXO cartons & raw materials recovered. Suspected illegal manufacturing of UNEXO brand.
⚠️ _Misbranded Cyproheptadine_ — Large quantity of white round tablets + finished packs of "Tab CYPRIN (Cyproheptadine)" of Siza International, Lahore (∼50k units).
The dangerous truth:
These so-called “herbal” powders are mixed with _Dexamethasone, Cyproheptadine, and Sodium Bicarbonate_ and sold online across Pakistan to innocent, illiterate, and desperate patients.
Yes, this mixture gives temporary relief, increased appetite, and a false euphoric feeling. _But it silently destroys kidneys_, causes water retention, kidney failure, and leads to lifelong dialysis.
Action taken:
The Drug Inspector Jarawala Town sealed 5 rooms containing all manufacturing material, finished products, and machinery. Samples of tablets, capsules, powders, raw materials, and phakkis sent to DTL Faisalabad for testing of allopathic ingredients.
The case has been forwarded to the Convener, DQCB Faisalabad for FIR permission.
