Anyone preparing for ASF should follow a smart and focused strategy: cover all topics asked in past papers in depth.
For example, if a question appears about the Indus Waters Treaty, you should know:
• When it was signed
• Between which two countries it was signed
• The heads of both countries at that time
• Which rivers were allocated to Pakistan and India
• Who brokered the agreement
Preparing topics in this comprehensive manner helps you cover the subject fully and greatly increases your chances of clearing the exam.
We all have mobile phones, and self-study with proper direction is the best approach.
I have also compiled past papers in this detailed, topic-wise format.

*There’s no special tip for running, you just have to run.*

If you haven’t practiced before, don’t expect to suddenly go from slow to fast during the run. Without practice, after 1000 meters you will feel that your feet have weight of 100kg

If you have at least *10 days before your test*, then start practicing daily. But if your test is within a week, don’t overdo it focus on rest and light activity.

During the run:
- Maintain a *steady pace from start to finish*
- Wear *lightweight running shoes*
- *Don’t look straight up* keep your head slightly down and focused
- And most importantly: *Never stop*, no matter how tired you feel. Once you stop, it becomes very hard to start again.

*Best of luck!*

ASF Recruitment Procedure

Physical Test:

The passing marks for the physical test are 15, but it is recommended to try to get the maximum marks. If your written test marks are slightly low, these extra marks can be very beneficial.
