The “International Journalism Conference 2017” is scheduled to be held in Lahore from December 9-11th, 2017 at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore. Initiated by Asst. Professor Aamir Rafique, the conference is being organized by the Foundation for Promotion of Academic C

ollaboration and it is supported by the Government of the Punjab and co-sponsored by the Punjab Higher Education Commission as well as a number of local and foreign institutions. Eminent foreign and local journalists will participate and deliver lectures on various issues surrounding Journalism. The conference has an academic and neutral character and focuses on the impact of social, economic, political, technological and educational on the practice of journalism. Proceedings of the conference will be published in an HEC approved journal for future reference. Honorable Chief Minister of the Punjab, H.E Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, is scheduled to open the proceedings as Chief Guest and the Ambassador of Germany, Martin Kobler, is expected to be the Guest of Honor.
