*Hope: The Greatest Driving force* by CSP Waqar Hassan

HUMANS have an inborn inclination to seek life improvement continuously. Life is a complex phenomenon that brings fortune to some and misery to others. Amid life’s hardships, the only thing that keeps moving forward is life itself. The voyage of life presents challenges and opportunities that test the ability of a man to navigate and make the most of them. Having hope is crucial in navigating both the anticipated and unforeseen moments in life. The belief in the Almighty’s blessings is what defines hope. Faith in the Almighty is what gives us the hope to live a happy and prosperous life. Those who maintain hope in life possess an unwavering faith in their Creator, the Almighty. In life, hope is the pathway to a garden of miracles. The greatest motivator in life is the power of hope.

To face unexpected storms in life, one needs mental fortitude. Mental resilience is born from the hope that empowers us to fight every battle in life. Without hope, individuals sacrifice all, enduring life without flourishing. The incorporation of hope in one’s mindset enables the overcoming of all barriers through the unimaginable power of mental strength. Mental strength compels our soul to relentlessly pursue life goals, empowering our body to concentrate its energy and power on the seemingly unattainable. Thus, hope stands as the ultimate driving factor in life.

Typically, individuals relinquish their pursuit of glory and succumb to failure and rejection after encountering disappointment in life. Nevertheless, the wise ones carry hope and ensure that failure does not hinder success. Despite the failure, hopeful individuals persist, weakening the monster of failure and nurturing the flower of success with hope.
By consistently putting in effort, hope can turn a bleak fate into a bright future. With hope as its fuel, the vehicle of success surges through mountains of disappointments, ultimately reaching the pinnacle of glory. Thus, hope carries an immense amount of energy essential for enduring life’s storms of disappointments.

If hope is carried within one’s heart as a pillar of strength, it can turn the wave of hope into a tsunami of success that crashes onto the shore of failure with great force. The power of hope transforms visions into tangible realities, like a picture hanging on a wall. This picture keeps driving a person towards one’s goals in’s goals in life. Like a wave in the open sea, it builds momentum within a person, transforming into an unstoppable tsunami of hope that helps overcome life’s challenges. What’s truly impressive is that when a person harnesses the power of hope, they can effortlessly overcome obstacles and continue moving forward in life, regardless of the looming threat of failure. Consequently, hope emerges as the primary driving factor in life. Hope has the power to change the course of a person’s life. Our purpose in this world is something we all have in common. The desire for a favourable outcome in life motivates us to work tirelessly toward our goals.

Hope is what ultimately determines the direction and purpose of life. Those who aspire to positively impact the world often choose a path centred around serving humanity. Abdul Sattar Edhi created a historic impact through his revolutionary social services. His humanitarian work began as a hope to leave a lasting impression on the world by providing aid to the poor and needy. Fueled by hope, he embarked on a path of selflessness, becoming an exemplary individual in his service to humanity. The ray of hope in his mind led to massive success through meaningful efforts. Abdul Sattar Edhi hoped to bring about societal change which motivated Abdul Sattar Edhi to continue his mission of serving humanity. Indeed, hope became his greatest motivation as he transformed history by serving humanity.

Islamic teachings emphasize the importance of hope as the greatest driving force. The numerous blessings from the Almighty serve as a reminder to hold onto hope, even in the most challenging times. The hope of receiving forgiveness from the Almighty gives humans the strength to revive their souls after making mistakes. Humans are motivated to keep moving forward in life by the hope and strong belief that the Almighty rewards hard work. The firm belief in the Almighty’s healing power gives patients hope to fight against any disease and recover from chronic illnesses. Hence, we need to count on the Almighty to convert our hopes into astonishing outcomes. The force of hope compels humans to begin afresh, directing their efforts toward achieving life’s aspirations.

Without hope, human beings become devoid of all their energy. A man without hope is a man without a soul drifting around like a rolling stone that gathers no mass. Hope in life shapes our attitudes making us behave optimistically. However, a person without hope adopts a pessimistic attitude losing all the strength and vigour required to move forward in life. Without hope, a person like a tree sheds all its leaves of mental, physical, and emotional strength transforming into a leafless tree having no potential to produce fruits in life. Life becomes an infertile land devoid of productivity when hope is absent. Without hope, life’s fertile ground becomes a barren desert of painful survival.

Nonetheless, having hope in life necessitates putting in a serious effort to achieve a goal. A man who holds onto hope puts forth effort to achieve the best in life. Hope alone isn’t enough to achieve success in this world or the hereafter; one must make strenuous efforts. Hope is indeed a powerful force, but it requires commitment, perseverance, willpower, and righteousness to yield the greatest rewards. When combined with exceptional efforts for a specific purpose, hope becomes a powerful catalyst for change. Without this, hoping to achieve anything in life is pointless. Throughout history, humans have achieved miraculous feats fuelled by hope. Verily, hope is the greatest motivating factor and the greatest propelling force. It serves as a catalyst, sparking positive reactions and transforming existence into a blooming garden of success, glory, and prosperity. The absence of this motivating factor causes the existence of man to spiral into permanent demise and destruction.

*Ecosystem destruction, Government and human role* The news.

An ecosystem is a group of flora, fauna, and other living things that coexist and benefit from the same resources in a given area, including soil, water, food, and air. Similar to our human community, each city dweller depends on their own resources and engages with their surroundings. An ecosystem is important because it serves as a habitat for many different kinds of wild plants and animals. It encourages different food webs and food chains to expand. People can live longer thanks to it, as it governs important ecological processes. Every organism in an ecosystem has a certain function and aim. For all the creatures that depend on an ecosystem, upsetting its balance can have catastrophic consequences. Coral reefs are one type of ecosystems, but there are other smaller ones as well. The size and makeup of each ecosystem vary, but it’s crucial to keep in mind that they are symbiotic communities regardless of size.

It’s well accepted that our globe is an ecosystem. The ecosystem’s equilibrium is thrown off when we introduce outside variables like excessive carbon dioxide or methane, which has an impact on the ecosystem’s inhabitants. As a result, there is water scarcity, species extinction, global warming, etc. All life on Earth is impacted by these consequences, including humans. The devastation of ecosystems will eventually affect everyone and everything.
A steady and healthy ecology is referred to be “sustainable.” This indicates that it has the capacity to sustain and procreate. Biodiversity exists in sustainable environments. Numerous organisms and species coexist and make contributions. Destroying ecosystems is already occurring. Our coral reefs have lost 25% of their area, and in the next 30 years, another 60% are expected to vanish. It results in illicit fishing, water pollution, and ocean acidification. Illegal logging, human needs, and development are the main causes of deforestation. Over a million hectares of forest have been cut for development or burned. Our animal species are in danger due to declining populations. The extinction of animal and plant species as a result of habitat loss is one of the most hazardous and distressing consequences of deforestation. Forests are home to 70% of all land animal and plant species. Deforestation endangers not just our recognized species but also undiscovered ones. The rainforest’s canopy, which controls temperature, is derived from the trees that protect certain species. Similar to a desert, deforestation causes a more dramatic night-to-day temperature change that could be lethal for many residents. The absence of trees not only results in habitat loss but also increases the amount of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere. As beneficial carbon sinks, healthy forests take up carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Deforested places emit more carbon and lose that ability.

The indigenous tribes that reside there and rely on the forest to support their way of life are also at danger when enormous tracts of forest are cut away, causing exposed soil to deteriorate and the habitats of several species to be destroyed. Their way of existence is directly and immediately impacted by the disappearance of woods. A lot of indigenous tribes rely on the forest’s resources for building materials, food, medicine, and cultural purposes. The loss of these resources presents numerous obstacles to the health and welfare of these people, many of which are found in isolated locations surrounded by thick forests. Human rights are affected by deforestation, especially for the numerous Indigenous tribes that live in frontline villages.
Frontline communities frequently have little influence over changes made to their local environment by businesses and the government. These populations also experience the most direct and dangerous effects of climate change and environmental deterioration. In addition to a multitude of issues for Indigenous people, the loss of trees and other vegetation can contribute to climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, and an increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
The ecology is destroyed by humans. In addition to overusing natural resources, our way of life pollutes the environment. Though there is only one planet Earth, humans are currently utilizing one and a half of its resources. We destroy woods, construct roads, go hunting, chop down trees, and contaminate the environment. We mismanage our resources. As an alternative, we ought to implement policies such as planting trees everywhere in the whole country, especially in deforested areas, and preserving more forests. Public education and legislative action are required to safeguard wildlife. Putting in motion several initiatives to preserve threatened species of animals and plants.
