Abdul Aleem Khan, Federal Minister for Communications, has proposed establishing a direct land trade corridor between Pakistan and Tajikistan via Gilgit to strengthen economic cooperation and regional connectivity.

اسلام آباد: 10 فروری 2026 — صدر آصف علی زرداری نے کہا کہ پاکستان ازبکستان کے ساتھ اپنے قریبی برادرانہ تعلقات کو بہت اہمیت دیتا ہے اور صدر شوکت مرزییوئیف کے حالیہ تاریخی اور نتیجہ خیز ریاستی دورے کے پاکستان کے نتائج پر موثر فالو اپ کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔

صدر مملکت نے یہ بات پاکستان میں جمہوریہ ازبکستان کے سفیر علیشیر تختائیف سے بات چیت کرتے ہوئے کہی جنہوں نے ایوان صدر میں ان سے ملاقات کی اور صدر شوکت مرزییوئیف کا ایک خط حوالے کیا۔

اپنے خط میں ازبک صدر نے اپنے دورے کے دوران غیر معمولی مہمان نوازی اور پرتپاک استقبال پر صدر زرداری، حکومت اور پاکستانی عوام کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے پاکستان کے سب سے بڑے سول اعزاز نشانِ پاکستان کے ساتھ ساتھ اعزازی پروفیسر شپ اور ڈاکٹریٹ سے نوازے جانے پر بھی اظہار تشکر کیا۔

صدر زرداری نے خوراک اور زراعت، کان کنی، انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی، سیاحت، صحت اور بینکنگ سمیت اہم شعبوں میں ازبکستان کے ساتھ تعاون کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کے پاکستان کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔ انہوں نے پاکستان سے حلال گوشت، پھل اور آلو کی درآمد میں ازبکستان کی دلچسپی کو دوطرفہ تجارت بڑھانے کی جانب ایک مثبت قدم قرار دیا۔

صدر مرزییوئیف نے صدر زرداری کو اپنی دعوت کا اعادہ کیا، جو اس سے قبل ان کی ملاقات کے دوران دیا گیا تھا۔ صدر زرداری نے دعوت قبول کرتے ہوئے پاکستانی جانب سے متعلقہ حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ اپنے ازبک ہم منصبوں کے ساتھ اس سال کے آخر میں دورے کو حتمی شکل دینے کے لیے رابطہ کریں۔

صدر نے اسلام آباد میں حالیہ دہشت گردانہ حملے کے بعد یکجہتی اور حمایت کے پیغام پر صدر مرزییوئیف کا شکریہ بھی ادا کیا اور پاکستان اور ازبکستان کے امن، استحکام اور ترقی کے مشترکہ سفر کو جاری رکھنے کے مشترکہ عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔

جناب علیشیر تختائیف نے صدر زرداری کو اسلام آباد کے F-7 سیکٹر میں بابر پارک کو ترقی دینے کی ازبکستان کی خواہش سے آگاہ کیا اور کہا کہ ایک متعلقہ ازبک وزیر اس کی تعمیر کے حوالے سے پاکستانی حکام سے بات چیت کے لیے اگلے ہفتے اسلام آباد کا دورہ کرے گا۔

پاکستان کے دو روزہ سرکاری دورے پر آئے ازبکستان کے صدر شوکت مرزائیوف نے پاکستانی تاجروں اور سرمایہ کاروں کے لیے اہم سہولت کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ازبکستان میں وہ 10 سال تک ٹیکس استثنیٰ حاصل کریں گے۔
یہ اعلان اسلام آباد میں منعقدہ پاکستان ازبکستان بزنس فورم کے دوران کیا گیا، جس میں وزیراعظم شہباز شریف، ازبک صدر، دونوں ممالک کے وزرا، اعلیٰ حکام اور کاروباری شخصیات نے شرکت کی۔
وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا کہ پاکستان ازبکستان کے تاجروں اور سرمایہ کاروں کو خوش آمدید کہتا ہے اور دونوں ممالک کے درمیان اقتصادی تعلقات اور تجارتی روابط میں تیزی سے اضافہ خوش آئند ہے۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ نجی شعبے کے درمیان 3 ارب 40 کروڑ ڈالر کے معاہدوں پر عملدرآمد ایک بڑی پیشرفت ہے، اور گزشتہ بزنس فورم کے نتیجے میں باہمی تجارتی سرگرمیوں میں نمایاں اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

شہباز شریف نے مزید کہا کہ بزنس فورم باہمی اقتصادی تعاون اور سرمایہ کاری کے فروغ کے لیے مؤثر پلیٹ فارم ہے، اور سائنس، ٹیکنالوجی، توانائی، زراعت اور ٹیکسٹائل کے شعبوں میں تعاون بڑھانے پر بھی اتفاق ہوا۔ انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ پاکستان میں مہنگائی کی شرح کم ہو کر سنگل ڈیجٹ میں آ چکی ہے، پالیسی ریٹ میں کمی ہوئی ہے اور معیشت استحکام کی جانب گامزن ہے۔
وزیراعظم نے پاکستان کے آئی ٹی سیکٹر کی ترقی کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ شعبہ غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاروں کے لیے پرکشش مواقع فراہم کر رہا ہے۔
